Hello,

I would like to ask if any of the forum members have experience modding the bios of the HP ProDesk 400 G3 Microtower MT Desktop PC to support 8th / 9th gen Intel CPUs.

I have the tower (currently with i5-6500) and I have a spare i5-9400f cpu. These are incompatible natively but I was wondering if it is possible to get them to work together?

Thanks for reading / responding.

Your best bet is to post in this forum here

While there are a tiny handful of members that have done and will do bios mods. They dont particularly specialise in it like the folks in the forum I posted might do. There is another forum that really specialises in it but its a Russian forum.
