Hi, Im from Colombia and this is my first post, i'm here cuz i need some important and serious help.

I bought a second hand graphic card which was used to mining and apparently they had changed the BIOS because physically there is a sticker which says "RX580 8GB 2048SP" but in GPU-Z the information is about a RX570 8GB, and there is no drivers working for it. I've never changed a graphic card's bios and that makes me scary cuz i can make strongly damage on the graphic card.

¿what do you reccomend me? ¿must i bring the graphic card to an expert?
Here is some captures of GPU-Z information, hoping you can help me.

Sorry for bad english and thank you for your help!

Edit: As you can see in the first screenshot, there is 0 and 0 on gpu clock and memory.

RX 580 2048SP is in fact RX 470 or 570, depending on an exact die. Like, any real 580 has 2304 SP.

However, something wrong happened here.

It runs at x4 PCI-e. Not a good sign. Also the BIOS file or the GPU die itself is faulty.

I'd demand my money back if I were you.

If you feel bored or if there's no way to get a refund then...

This BIOS has support for your VRAM.
Flash it and if you still get the same picture then it's likely a hardware issue.

It's easier to change a sticker than it is to change the BIOS.

Its possible you were simply not given a clean bill of sale and bought an RX570 with an RX580 sticker on it to bump up the value a bit. Would be rough changing the bios in that case, might brick the card (might always brick the card when messing with the BIOS).

Have you actually put the card through any benchmarks to see where it lands relative to an actual RX580 and 570?

As others have pointed out, an RX 580 2048SP is a rebranded RX 570 with slightly higher clocks. Watch this video from Gamers Nexus for context:

Given this is a mining card, you are likely given a card with a mining BIOS on it. I'd suggest backing up the current BIOS and then flashing an RX 570 BIOS on your card, that might work. If you end up bricking it, you can theoretically recover it by reflashing on it the backup BIOS on a system with integrated graphics.

Please do a big favor and get a picture of the model number sticker, and any part numbers, also a picture of a ram chip and a picture of the metal frame surrounding the gpu die which has a 215-**** number on it

Lets make sure all information in a bios matches up with the card, even physical verification of whats on the card first.
