A little backstory: I have a rx 550 4gb with 640 shaders/SP exact model: PowerColor Red Dragon Radeon™ RX 550 4GB GDDR5 OC V3 this card sells a lot in brazil.
While i was watching a benchmark video, the youtuber fixed a comment that says: "Pay attention that RX 550 is with moded BIOS and boosted performance."
followed by the number of shaders he got it running: 768,
I managed to edit my bios and flash it using SRBpolaris unlock shaders function, and AtiFlash. When i boot up my card shows up with 896 Shaders in gpu-z, but i can't open any games because the main api's like Opengl and Vulkan aren't able to load, showing up as unmarked in gpu-z.
In SRBpolaris it says something about patching the drivers, does anyone have any idea ofdoing that? i'm thinking on trying to unninstall my current graphic drivers and then installing them with the shaders already unlocked, i'll try it then i'll let you know Thanks for your attention!!!
Tried clean installing drivers using DDU,the driver doesn't recognize my graphics card and displays an driver not recognizing hardware error message, if it helps i'll be posting a gpu-z screenshot and my vbios file.
I got the shaders to work, i ran a program that people who bought mining cards from polaris series normally use to install drivers, the program is :
atikmdag-patcher-1.4.8
