These are my settings i have in throttlestop after watching and reading so many videos and posts abt how to use throttlestop to optimize. but for some reason when i play valorant i get suddent FPS drops to 0.

i have my fps locked at 90 and it always stays at the range of 70-90 depending on whats goin on, but then i get these drops all of a sudden and my game starts to feel super stuttery as a result. pls i need guide with this. what should i change? (also about the limit window, these are the limits i always get when i play val. but the pl1 on core and edp other on ring are the ones that are always red when i play)

If playing games is important, you need to buy a more powerful computer. Intel's Core i3 U series were made for light internet use, not gaming. A low power laptop with a 2 core CPU is not good enough for gaming in 2022.

In the TPL window, try increasing the PL1 and PL2 power limits from 15 to 30. Check the Short Power PL2 box so this info is sent to the CPU. It might not make any difference. If your CPU is overloaded, it will stop and stutter at times. 0 FPS sounds about right.

so is my pl1 value useless if i dont tick the pl2 box is what ur saying? for instance, i have mine both on 15w with only pl1 being checked, will it make a difference if i have both checked?

yes i know my unit isnt really for gaming. i rlly dont have anything to buy for more powerful computer rn tbh. (And as the creator of throttlestop, i freakin thank u so much, yes my laptop isnt for gaming but ur creation made valorant playable man. throttlestop is my bestfriend. ive recommended it to so many people)

if i dont tick the pl2 box
I know some guides recommend that you should clear the Short Power PL2 box. I prefer to check both the Long PL1 and the Short PL2 boxes.
Set PL1 = PL2 = 30W. That should be more than enough power for your CPU.

Edit - It looks like your cooling can only handle about 20W so you might want to set the power limits to only 20W instead of 30W.

Turn on the Log File option while you are playing a game so you have a record of how your CPU is performing. Attach your log file to your next post so I can see if there are any problems.

ur creation made valorant playable man
That is a miracle. I thought a 2 core CPU would choke to death trying to run Valorant.
