Shit, for $35 I'd give it a try. My Cryorig M9 barely cools my 2600k. It does just enough... to the point where I've contemplated getting a new case so I could fit a big AIO, but I don't care enough to spend that kind of money. $35 though? Sure, why not.

This exactly. The hard part I have believing is that it will be $35 when it lands in the west. We shall see.

Looks like they really wanna compete with the AK620. Which is fine, I still prefer the AK620's looks, but the AK620 is also significantly more expensive. $35 is ballpark PA120/PS120 pricing on Amazon so it's par for the course.

ID-cooling has been really making a name for themselves in SFF and now towers as well, so I don't see a reason to view them with more skepticism than Thermalright and Deepcool.

The pricing, however...Thermalright is the most consistent at delivering Amazon.com prices at or below MSRP for most coolers. Deepcool more flaky but they are the only one also with a brick and mortar presence in Canada. ID-cooling harder to find.

260W of course is highly dependent on what thermal resistance they're testing on. And the fact that CPUs easily cruise along at 95C these days.

But the A620 is a blinged up SE 206 XT actually. Not bad but they should have blinged up the SE 207 XT (Advanced?)

Id-cooling is no joke. Prior to Thermalrights resurgence they were my go to for nearly all of my aircooled rigs. They do a great job of hanging with the big dogs at very competitive prices. They've been punching above their weight class for several years now. They know by now if they fudge their numbers they will get blasted for it. If they claim this can do 260w at $36 I tend to believe them. I look forward to getting my hands on one eventually.

Were can you get it for $35 ?.
Try AliExpress maybe.

Thermalright sells twin towers for 20USD albeit they're trying to just make everything cheap, ID Cooling sells the Frozn A620 for 35usd in china.

$49.99 on Amazon...
And what is up with the copykat innovation lol...
It's obvious an "attempt" to compete with the Deepcool AK620..

I mean... "620" in both names... then you have multiple companies using "Assassin".... smh

Their $50 240mm AIO has treated me well, I wouldn't hesitate to get one of their air coolers.

Absolutely I've been testing their heatsinks for years and I've just been testing IS55 on 5800X3D, it somehow keeps max boost despite it's petite size

You're paying for some looks here. Same price as a Fuma 3 and more expensive than half a dozen Thermalright coolers that probably perform slightly better.
