Nice review but the price is scary for a 60hz monitor. I think there is definitely a 4K 60hz monitor you can buy cheaper with similar performance than what the company is asking for this one $480.

Yeah, pretty much exactly what I wrote in my conclusion. Unless you're getting it at a discount ($305 currently), simply too expensive, given its flaws.

True that but i remember I got my LG 27UD69 for $600 back in the day. like 4 years ago. Still I think the price for this one is too high considering so many 4k 60hz products available and also very good products. $400 is a steep price Also, companies should go for balanced features and quality. Not sharpens is of the charts but ghosting is killing the experience.

@Inle Hi :) Is there a chance you could review the new Innocn 40C1R? It seems like an interesting proposition for both gaming and work, especially with promo pricing...

What a coincidence, I'm working on the 40C1R right now, it's my next review :)

@Inle That's great news! :) I'm looking forward to the review as I'm very much interested in buying the monitor :)

EDIT: I'm looking for a new monitor to replace my trusty AOC Q3279VWFD8. Innocn 40C1R seems like a good choice as it looks to be similar (IPS, similar height, 1440P vertical resolution) but at the same time better (ultra wide, 144Hz, Freesync Premium, higher brightness, better stand). As for what I need it for - I'm a programmer by day and an occasional gamer by night ;)

@Inle In the review for INNCO 27C1U you said that the monitor could be hardware calibrated. I’m very new to monitors in general; I thought this type of functionality is very rare and only available on some high-end ASUS ProArts, those in the Benq SW series, and a few in the ViewSonic VP series?

That only means you can use a hardware calibration device (such as the X-Rite i1Display Pro, currently being sold as Calibrite ColorChecker Display Plus) to calibrate the monitor. This can be done with any monitor.
