Instant crahes with ThrottleStop 9.7 when going with extreme Undervolts

Hi, I have a i9 13980HX and everytime I use TS9.7 on a fresh Windows startup, I'll get a instant BSOD if I apply any UV beyond -125mV, wich is really odd.

If I downgrade to 9.6 this won't happen anymore, or if I start the profile with the 9.6, exit, and open 9.7 I will not crash neither. I don't know what's going on.

Did you adjust the TS 9.7 core and cache V/F values? Set those exactly the same as mV Boost was set in TS 9.6

The mV Boost number goes in the top 800 MHz box.

Hi, I did have that but the Use Core and Cache V/F options were disabled and in my case since I just copied the ThrottleStop.ini from v9.6 to the latest with my third profile applied when starting the app, it was showing that every Profile was at 210mV and not set on proper values for each profile, I guess this is the culprit for isntant BSODs, but should I keep core and cache V/F boxes disabled or enable them?

Those boxes have to be checked if you want ThrottleStop to send the V/F voltages to the CPU.

The first time you run TS 9.7, it will read the V/F value the CPU is currently using and it will set all profiles to the same value. If you were using 4 different mV Boost values in TS 9.6, these values will not automatically be copied over to TS 9.7. You will need to manually edit the V/F values for each profile and you will need to check the Use Core and Use Cache boxes.

instant BSODs
an undervolt of -210 mV is living on the edge of stability. If you cannot get your computer stable after TS 9.7 is properly setup, keep using TS 9.6.

Thanks for the insight, and yeah the -210mV is only for when I’m using broswer or some indie games with Turbo disabled and so far it never crashed. Now it’s stable w 9.7 after checking both boxes and setting the proper values for each profile.
