How many on here mentioned this, and Intel have done it. Shame it's only 8 core, maybe they don't want to spoil Bartlett though.

Looks like intel pulled the page for the 14901KE. The others are still up. They are listed as "embedded" CPUs but use the LGA 1700 socket. They are also listed as B0 stepping parts, which likely means they use the same Raptor Lake die, with the E-cores fused off.

If the price is right, why not?

The performance model is named efficient. And then when the make an E-only CPU, their brand name will be performance.
