New Update for Intel Killer Software Suite

Changelog:-
  • Fixed Smart AP and it is working properly now
  • Added additional start up type on one of killer components services to ensure full features working
Untested features...
  • Bluetooth tab [I guess they are trying to make a UI for [WiFi + BT] in one program?
  • Start VR mode
  • Extreme Game Mode
Notice:- It's better to use it along with Intel Wi-Fi Ultra Killer modded drivers for better coherent and compatibility. Although it will still work with stock Intel WiFi drivers.

  • Uninstall the previous version first by simply uninstalling it from device manager like this

  • And then install the new ones by downloading from the attachment :)
Once I make sure that everything is fine and no issues being reported, I will edit the main post and post the this Killer Intelligence Center installer ;)

New Update for Intel Killer Software Suite
Oh, shocko_O
Wifianalyzer doesn't work with the standard driver.
It works with the custom driver.
The APswitch doesn't work with either driver.
After a clean install of Windows 11 24H2, Bluetooth no longer showed up in Killer, but now it shows up with this patcher.
My environment is Windows 11 24H2, AX210.

Working nicely with the newest driver/killer, however Double Connect is still not working atm.

I still think its related to this, in cmd run:
netsh wlan show wirelesscapabilities

Which reports:

Wireless System Capabilities
----------------------------
Number of antennas connected to the 802.11 radio (value not available)
Max number of channels the device can operate on, simultaneously (value not available)
Co-existence Support : Unknown

Wireless Device Capabilities
----------------------------
Number of Concurrent Channels Supported : 0
Number of Radios : 0
Maximum Number of Secondary STAs Supported : 0
Number of MLO Connections Supported : 3

Basically the wifi device isn't telling Windows it supports more than 1 channel at a time, so no UI appears to use the feature.

I'm still trying to work around it and trying to bypass Intel checking mechanism ;) I just need more time to dig deeper :D

Smart AP still not working.
Will provide another fix :)

I'm sorry:(
I got a bit anxiouso_O
I'll calm down now:sleep:

It seems that the Smart AP is now working, and yes, I rebooted the system and it still works! Good job, THEBOSS619!

Works great (AX210), Smart AP showing & works. VR Mode kind of worked last time I tried, in that I could see the new network on my Quest 3 and connect to it, but Quest Link wouldn't work over it- not sure if it's a Meta/Quest problem though! Will try again soon.

Hello, just registered to follow this thread. I have an AX210 and AX211, would like to see if I can make DCT work.

@THEBOSS619 Out of curiosity, does the WiFi 7 BE200 use the new driver architecture NetAdapterCx or the old one?

Hey! yes, WiFi 7 BE200 use the new driver architecture NetAdapterCx by default officially but doesn't have the killer features and hence this modded driver will allow you to have Killer features ;) DCT options is there but i'm trying to find a way to make it work and bypass Intel's reporting. It's like tricking the Intel's checking mechanism :) sooner or later I will find a way... I just need time :toast:

Thanks for you work. My understanding is that DCT the same technology used for VR MODE but they may be two mutually exclusive features (you can have DCT and VR MODE).

Also I think DCT was abandoned in BE200, because Wi-Fi 7 has MLO, which is a more generic and standard implementation of DCT.

I think that too :toast:, MLO can replace the DCT function wise but I have no way of knowing or testing with no access to such hardware, I only got Intel AX211 :) so I'm going deeper while being a little blind here where to start or to look  Wish me luck as this thing seems alot to deal with :D

The drivers that I will be providing it to you today are made for Intel AX2xx-AX16xx-BE2xx-BE17xx Wi-Fi module chip that is present to almost all OEM/Vendor laptops [Mostly on Intel based laptops].

Unfortunately Intel stock drivers differentiate between top of the line of Intel Wi-Fi chip and the cheaper/older ones... even though they have the exact same hardware specifications yet.. they lock features & performance improvements related to the driver functions to only top tier/top of the line of Intel Wi-Fi chip and neglect older Intel Wi-Fi chip with old drivers & un-optimized functions being used. I guess Intel does that to force users to buy there expensive top tier/top of the line of Intel Wi-Fi chip.

This modded driver supports Intel AX2xx-AX16xx-BE2xx-BE17xx Wi-Fi.. doesn't matter if from Acer, Asus, Lenovo, MSI, HP, Desktop, NUC, etc.. and others... as long as they are Intel AX2xx-AX16xx-BE2xx-BE17xx Wi-Fi model.. it is completely fine. Now you can save $$$ and enjoy Intel® Killer™ Features along with optimizations that comes with it! :rockout:

Currently it supports all those models:-
  • Intel AX101
  • Intel AX203
  • Intel AX211
  • Intel AX210
  • Intel AX411
  • Intel AX1675
  • Intel BE200
  • Intel BE202
  • Intel BE1750
  • Intel AX200
  • Intel AX201
  • Intel AX1650

Today I present you my so called "Optimized" or "Improved" drivers by editing .inf files to be able to take advantage of top tier/top of the line of Intel Wi-Fi chip features to our older models. It's like I am back porting all features & optimization that are made only to top tier/top of the line of Intel Wi-Fi chip features back to our beloved Intel AX210/AX211/AX1650/AX1675 Wi-Fi :)

Intel applied arbitrary limitations to AX210/AX211/AX1650/AX1675 Wi-Fi chip so they can sell AX411 & AX1690... but here I am... it's now using the new NetAdapterCx (Network Adapter WDF Class Extension) with my modified driver on AX210/AX211/AX1650/AX1675!, Which they only did it for AX411 & AX1690 while they kept AX210/AX211/AX1650/AX1675 with an old ndis.sys ones deliberately.

By default NetAdapterCx is being used on ethernet drivers years ago by Realtek/Intel and other Ethernet Vendors too.

It's simply a driver limitation Intel put it on but HW supports it. It also have DCT [Double Connect Tech.] although I would need find a way to test it if DCT actually works with AX210/AX211 specifically since I have the option to enable it on the driver settings through device manager but I believe it needs Intel Killer Software Suite... [WIP about Intel Killer Software Suite... I already bypassed HWID check but needs more work & not worth delays the public release of this modded driver :) ]

Here's some info regarding the DCT [Double Connect Tech.] with a Video explaining it.
https://www.intel.com/content/www/u...ess/double-connect-killer-wi-fi-6e-video.html

Using Windows 11 is a requirement to enjoy those benefits that I will mention after this. Windows 10 doesn't support NetAdapterCx driver.

Notice:- Intel AX200 & AX201 Doesn't support NetAdapterCx driver so they are not included.

Benefits & Features with NetAdapterCx driver support are...
  • Lower ndis.sys DPC routines
  • Lower CPU utilization during high load networking
  • Lower latency when compared between NetAdapterCx based drivers vs ndis.sys based drivers.

You can read it here more in-depth.. and even google it.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/netcx/wifi-wdf-class-extension-wificx

Here's some proof picture that I did it with success! + Technical details about Intel dividing the features between AX210/AX211/AX411 through driver structure changes...

Additional tunings I have made on this modded driver are...
  • MSI tunings related to IRQ & Priority level.
  • Applied out of the box default settings of Intel Killer features for AX210/AX211 and enabled & used by default.
  • Using QOS settings that was only made for Intel Killer models now being used by default to our beloved AX210/AX211.
  • Unhide & allow DCT [Double Connect Tech.] to be visible to the users on device manager.
  • Auto elevate script used inside setup.bat to be able to Install the modded driver without needing to do "Right click on the file & Run as admin".
  • Renamed Intel Wi-Fi naming to be able to differentiate between stock driver ones & my modded driver ones.
  • Added Intel BE200 Support (Including Killer Variants) now they get to enjoy it too!
  • Fixed a rare case issue with IRQ for Intel AX211 subvariant [DEV_51F0&SUBSYS_00948086]
  • Fixed MSI bug issue for Intel AX211 subvariant [DEV_51F0&SUBSYS_00948086]
  • Added additional work around for Intel AX211 subvariant [DEV_51F0&SUBSYS_00948086]
  • Fixed a misspell naming of one of the Intel AX names
  • Added PieExtension & WiFi Driver Customizations from Intel Stock drivers Package
  • Added & support for Intel AX200/AX201 and AX1650i [Unfortunately NetAdapterCx driver not included as it will break Wi-Fi functionality]
  • Added & support for Intel BE1775x
  • Fixed signal integrity bug issues for Intel Killer AX1675i subvariant of [PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7A70&SUBSYS_16721A56]
  • Added a fix workaround for Intel Killer AX1675i subvariant of [PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7A70&SUBSYS_16721A56] & [PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7AF0&SUBSYS_16721A56]
  • Added PieComponent driver along with PieExtension & Wi-Fi Custom driver with the package to be installed with the modded driver
  • Applied MSI tunings related to IRQ & Priority level for AX200/AX201 and AX1650i
  • Applied MSI tunings workaround for Intel Killer AX1675i subvariant of [PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7AF0&SUBSYS_16721A56]
  • Made BE200 to use Killer features by default
  • Added DCT [Double Connect Tech.] driver level support for BE200 & BE202
  • Added DCT [Double Connect Tech.] driver level support for AX200 & AX201
  • Added DCT [Double Connect Tech.] driver level support for AX1650i & AX1675i
  • Added QOS and used by default for BE200 & BE202
  • Added QOS and used by default for AX200 & AX201
  • Possible fix for Swedish language on device manager on advanced settings menu
I will always update Intel drivers whenever Intel provides newer stock driver versions on the future releases & I will apply the modded changes on top of it.

Alright here we start... I have the confidence to share my modded driver to the public which allows us to enjoy all features & optimization that Intel made and might provide extra networking performance as well. The driver is on the attachment of this post!

Unfortunately I don't have any spare time to provide data results of performance difference between the stock driver ones vs my modded driver. So the only option is to take Microsoft words about NetAdapterCx benefits and Intel words about Intel® Killer™ features benefits but all I can assure you 100% is that I confirm that all those changes are being applied & used correctly & effectively being used properly.

Please notice this is the 1st Public Beta release. I have made it public after enough reports of being stable & without any stability issues being reported. If you faced any issues... please report it here by commenting, Thank you :)

Installing instructions:-
  • Simply download the file [The driver is on the attachment of this post! ]
  • Extract the zip file. [Use 7zip as Windows ones doesn't know how to deal with compressed files.]
  • Simply run setup.bat file & you are done!
  • Enjoy! :toast:
How to Uninstall Intel modded Wi-Fi driver:-
  • Simply go to Device Manager by clicking on Keyboard [Win + X] and it will show you this.. Simply click on Device Manager
View attachment 364030
  • Navigate and Uninstall it with checkbox checked like this...

I just installed the version you have released in this message, and I am testing the driver for performance. I was wondering if you have the code on .GIT hub or anything so we can see the source code. Thanks for your work on this.

Best Regards :)

I have the latest drivers from you and I tested about three of them and now with the latest one I am getting significantly better performance. I am getting over 700 mbs on the download and the upload is capped at 20mbs per second and I am bursting above that and then throttled into the high teens but what I don't see is my mac address making 2 connections on my Xfinity router which is good news I guess because of the high speeds already !!!

I am getting over 700 mbs on the download and the upload is capped at 20mbs per second and I am bursting above that and then throttled into the high teens but what I don't see is my mac address making 2 connections on my Xfinity router which is good news I guess because of the high speeds already !!!
This is really amazing to hear! :clap:I'm always happy to see it gives benefits and provides performance improvements! :) thank you so much for your kindness and for reporting those results :respect:

Regarding GitHub source, I'm not creating something from scratch :) , I'm simply modifying .inf files to use the higher tier ones of Intel Wi-Fi chip & signing it with my own certificate. Everything else is binary & can't be edited or even mess with it unless I reverse engineer it which is impossible for me & to anybody unless someone has access to the tools that Intel uses it :)

You can even check and compare between stock .inf files vs modded .inf files and see the changes being made ;) anything else is not being touched and it's exactly the same as stock ones except the .inf file :)

Any other files that comes with it like .sys & .dll isn't tampered with or even touched bec. I'm simply can't do anything with them :D

Ok, I understand how you are doing it now and that is awesome that you were able to figure this out man kudos to you !!! I am very interested in this so I will be trying to put some testing statistics together.

Still new to this all so I am digesting all of the great information in these post that everyone has shared so forgive me if I have missed some information already shared.

I am not seeing 2 connections being made on my Xfinity Router only 1 connection for OmenNightmare and my wifi card is a Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz but I am not connecting on Wifi 6 although other devices are. I am using 5G for the first setting in the Advanced Config and AX for the second one.

So theoretically, is a perfect world if this card can truly do 2.4mhz, 5mhz & 6mhz we should be able to configure it to connect on all three channels. But from what I have read this project is creating the drivers to connect at 2.4mhz and 5mhz is that correct?

Also I would like the Killer intel application to install and see if it works on my system and some people report using a WiFi Analyzer so if anyone has any useful other tools please do share the links. Thank you everyone!!

Thank you for your kind words! :respect: ask anything you want! :) regarding connecting to all 3 channels. (2.4,5,6Ghz) is not possible due to hardware limitations of Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 :( only AX411 and AX1690i/s would have this functionality officially.

But theoretically AX210 and up can also have it but they are being limited intentionally from Intel through drivers... :kookoo:it's like arbitrary limitations:wtf: still W.I.P. about that, my free time is limited due to personal life :)

The main project & the main goal is to use Netadaptercx & Killer features as a secondary goal, which can have DCT but it's only available on driver level but still W.I.P. about it through UI or make Windows to recognize this feature.

My card is an Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz and it connects 802.11a/b/g Wireless Mode - 1. 5mhz 802.11a and 802.11n/ac/ax Wireless Mode - 4. 802.11ax. So on my router I was confused because I thought I had a WiFi 6SE card that connects on the 6mhz band but my card is a dual band card that connects on 2.4mhz and 5mhz and has the ability to use the 802.11b AZ protocol on the 5mhz and 2.4mhz bands but you have to choose between 5mzh and 2.4mhz you can't have both worlds and so far I see that the 5mhz setting with the AX protocol perform the best about 250mbits faster on average but in speed testing there are so many variables that its hard to find any detailed conclusive statistics but you can find the general setting that give you the most speed. I will dig in more and keep up the testing and see what I can find.

But someone please tell me how do I know if the double connect is working ? Am I suppose to see 2 connections on my router for same machine? One at 2.4mhz and the other at 5mhz?

AX200 maximum supports 5Ghz at 160Mhz which theoretically Intel marketing it as semi Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) but according to product Spec. it's still 5Ghz max due to standard specifications. The true Wi-Fi 6 are the Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) :) which Intel AX210 have.

Here's a pic spec of Intel AX200

While it does have 802.11AX protocol but still does not get the true Wi-Fi 6... I blame Intel for being vague about this and fooling people with this marketing crap :banghead: You will always see your Wi-Fi connected to 5Ghz as that's the maximum that Intel AX200 allows you to do so. You can't connect to Wi-Fi 6Ghz with Intel AX200... only AX210 and above can:(
Reference:-

You won't see DCT to be working on Intel AX200 due to hardware limitations + no driver support for it while Intel AX210 and above does have hardware requirments but with no driver support hence it is W.I.P. regarding Intel AX210 as I try to find a way to by pass that :)

Wait you said my model was supported see…
