I am pretty sure I have an X399 board with U2 but the only modern boards that have that are in the HEDT range.

I have it set on a 4K stripe, it would probably be a little better on 8K stripe but I will try that next week. I just use Win10 disk management so it's not bottled necked behind suboptimal firmware controller and so I can move it to another PC if needed.

Just FYI, TPU has this nice tool but I'm not sure what the 905p's nand erase block size or page size is yet.

The erase block size pertains to NAND; Optane doesn't suffer from that limitation.
