I am running my 12600kf with an SP of 68 (was 75) and an IMC SP of just 45, I have been looking everywhere to see how far above me people have gotten with better binned 12th gen K cpus but I can truly proudly say I am running this second stable at 7400mt/s at cl 32, on a $109 32gb Patriot kit at that! I already know, yes it shocked the $*it out of me too, but in all fairness I have been around the block for a minute, and not even bragging, I just have had a lot of really good luck, I may not be #1 or even #10 in most leaderboards of most benchmarks, however for 3d Mark, because I bin my personal hardware very carefully, or well not even that, I am just a picky binner! Also, when every new gen drops I buy an i5 and an i9 the first available opportunity, so I had this 12600kf sitting in a box next to a 13600kf that I just sold, but tbh the 13600kf was a true monster for an i5. That i5 had a cpu SP of 89 (avg between P and E cores, with a 96 P core SP!) and an imc SP of 74!
Due to the high imc SP on the 13600kf, running it in 3 different Strix Boards and also in a z690 Hero, that i5 scored highest in every 3d mark benchmark i participated in, when put against the same setups with same hardware, and indeed the imc in the 13600kf was better than in my 13900k, that has a cpu SP of 110 and is sitting in a new build now thats almost finished, but paired with the same 4090, and both 13th gens capable of 6.2ghz, in almost every benchmark with the 4090 that was GPU bound only, it scored higher than the i9, and could sustain slightly better memory OC than the i9, which is strange but proof that a good imc is so important when it comes to overall perfromance!
Im quite certain that 7400 cl 32 at 1.45v is the best I can expect of that cpu. I had it running at 7600 cl 36 for about 20 min and then it would error out, makes me wonder if these Patriot 7200m/t modules are going to be some killer binners, i was so happy to see them post on xmp 1st try. I don't even have an extra fan cooler on my modules, so if someone has seen higher than 7400 stable on 12600k /kf ? please lmk
