SLI and Crossfire are technologies specific to nvidia and AMD respectivly. Intel utilizes its own called "Deep Link" https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000092570/graphics.html it is not like for like with SLI and Crossfire however.

If you wanted something less hardware (config) bound and more agnostic between brands you are likely looking for DX12's mGPU API. This is implemented on a per game basis with only 2 games that I know of existing that use it. You can read this tomb raider article which has a broader view on the technology. In intels case it would most likely be "Heterogeneous mGPU" even if they were the same card.

Vulkan has mGPU as well. There's a decent number of games, definitely more than 2.
My personal favorite is RDR2. Fully expect GTA6 to support it.

Like I said, I only know of 2. It figures vulkan supports it, I wonder if DX API got it from them; considering that MS is opening up the DX API to be more vulkan compatible.

I have a bigger list of mGPU

1. Ashes of the singularity = Natively supported for All cards even different vendors
2. Chasm the rift = (Vulkan)
3. Deus EX mankind Divided (for Nvidia S.L.I systems DX12 AFR must have single card set in control panel.)
4. Rise of the Tomb Raider
5. Shadow of the Tomb Raider
6. Quake 2 RTX = (Vulkan)
7. Red Dead Redemption 2 (VulKan)
8. Chernobylite (Nvidia driver 566 support two RTX 4090 in mGPU)
9. Sniper elite 4

The user "Venturi" has a list on level1techs some that use UE4 that you have to mod the exe to get to work.

A good use for mGPU in general is having a second card for Lossless Scaling to get "free" (as in, not affecting base framerate) Framegen + Upscaling + ReShade. Arc cards could be a good fit for that given their price/perf. The performance requirements for LSFG are not trivial but also not too crazy and I've had pretty good luck using A380/A770/B570 for that purpose.

Reminds me... I've used a Navi24 RX 6500 XT for similar.

When AFMF was introduced, I threw Win11 on my Ryzen+MI25/WX9100 build and put the 6500XT in the Gen4x4 slot on my mobo.
The MI25/WX9100 (Vega 64 FE 16GB-like) rendered, and the 6500 XT did final display-out and AFMF fake frames.

That silly setup did allow me to play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora acceptably. 'Never did find a way to get the Vega10 doing raster, and the Navi24 doing RT, though...

Sounds cool tho! That makes me wanna try it on Vega8 iGPU with 2060 dGPU
