As title.
Is there an internal hub that transform a USB 3 internal header to multiple USB 2 internal headers?

USB is (at least in theory) forwards and backwards compatible. This means you can connect USB 2 devices to USB 3 ports (and USB 3 device to USB 2 ports) and, as long as the connections physically fit (and they should) everything will work just fine - just at the slowest rate of the slowest link.

I say "in theory because some times, in theory and the real world don't always jibe. But most of the time they do. In any case, no harm just trying.

.... Why do you want to do this? Does the USB 3 jacks not connect properly to the devices you want to them to, and you suspect this may be the reason? Or maybe you think you will just get more usb 2 ports rather than less usb 3? ( if thats the case, use some of your extra usb 2 headers - I'm sure you have some, and get some of these: https://shorturl.at/GiyAq

Something like this:
Coupled with those simple, 3.0-to-2.0 header converters, perhaps?

I also saw some no-logic (i.e. just splitting wires) 3.0 splitters, but the reviews on their pages aren't very comforting.

I'm assuming here that the "USB 2.0 devices" you're referring to are internal. If they are external, then you're probably going the wrong way here. Just grab an external USB hub and plug it to your external ports. Or at most extreme a PCIe expansion card. No need to mess around with internal USB wiring at all.

Interesting gadget. I imagine, they all have to split up the bandwidth from the original cable there, right? It must have to... otherwise, that sounds too good to be true. Damn you. Now I'm thinking of big internal external usb drive raids. BUT NO. I told myself when I ran out of internal connections.. thats enough storage LOL.

Should be similar to how powered, external hubs operate. Split bandwidth + overhead.
And damn me? You're the one thinking raid over USB. That alone should get you cancelled on these forums. :p

Sorry friend, don't judge, I just have a problem and sometimes I can't control myself. I see a good deal on an ssd and I buy it! Even though I haven't even used 25% of my existing storage. But then I started running out of places to connect them and that has solved the problem for now... so... Dont go giving me bad ideas!

I would like to use my USB3 internal headers to connect USB 2 devices...

I have tons of USB 2.0 devices and no USB one... So I would like to use USB 3 internal ports for USB 2 devices...
Usb 3.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0/revised, 1.1, 1.0, no need for a specific header, just get a 3.0 type.

Now if you had a case with 2.0 ports only then you need to look at the pin out of the 3.0 header on the motherboard via manual or get a 3.0 header to 2.0 port adapter.

USB is (at least in theory) forwards and backwards compatible. This means you can connect USB 2 devices to USB 3 ports (and USB 3 device to USB 2 ports) and, as long as the connections physically fit (and they should) everything will work just fine - just at the slowest rate of the slowest link.

Never had a problem running 1.0-2 devices in 3.0 ports.

I personally have not either. But I am aware of claims of problems. But I suspect that most are likely due to poor design, poor construction, and poor compliance with the standards/protocols - or manufacturing defects or even user abuse. Either way, that is why I said "in theory" it should work. Sadly, real world (humans are not perfect) sometimes gets in the way.

if it is a pin out instead of a socket… (socket is a usb 3.2, pinout is a usb 3.0)
a socket allows one usb, the pinout depending on the board, 2 jacks, or 4 pin outs…

from amazon . ca

9Pin USB Header Splitter Male 1 to 4 Female Extension Cable Card for Motherboard, USB 2.0 Splitter Cable Connector with 3M Adhesive, Adapter Port Multiplier for CPU Fans, RGB Lights, WiFi Receiver

or just search for (BTW it is in bold because i Cut-in-pasted from amazon, and i don’t like pasting links to amazon…)

9Pin USB Header Splitter Male 1 to 4

or do the same thing on aliexpress. (might be cheaper)
