Guys, I'm planning to upgrade my PC after 10 years, I have a 6700K, 144 Hz 24'' VG248QE etc...

I have opportunity to get Asus PG27AQDP OLED 2K 480Hz. Planning to get 9800X3D and 5070, but will that GPU be enough for that monitor? Mostly esports titles, and some singpleplayers (don't care about details much).

It depends on your settings, games, and expectations. Are you going to hit 480FPS? not in most titles. That's true for any GPU though. There are some esports titles that will with a 4090, but that's it. With the 5070, we don't know exact multi-frame-gen performance or what games are going to use it (there's a current list, but I don't know how many of those you play)...so with that, you may hit high FPS, but in games with no RT or MFG, I'd expect it to perform similar to 4070ti/4080. With RT, probably a little better than a 4080, but this is just a guess as there are no 3rd party reviews yet. The raster performance for most of the series doesn't have a major uplift over 4000 series. It looks like with RT, there might be a 20-30% increase per sku. Just estimates, so if you want to be certain, wait for reviews. Just FYI if you haven't seen it explained anywhere, the only way that 5070 gets 4090 performance like Nvidia's claim is to use the multi-frame-gen part of DLSS4. so the game has to support that, and you have to use that setting...which comes with a latency penalty you may or may not care about. In games with no DLSS 4, it's not going to be as fast as a 4090...far from it.

A 5070 is looking to be a great 2k card.

You're going to get a lot of nitpicky answers on this forum. So I'll give you a simple one.

That setup will be fine.
