So, i have opened gpu-z on a pc without any drivers just to check if temps are ok after repasting the card, but when i've installed the amd driver it went to a black screen then this checkerboard pattern all over the screen.
It did solve the issue with a restart, but i'm wondering if gpu-z had something to do since it happened twice with the same amd gpu. Is this a normal behavior on gpu-z or is my gpu the problem?

Gpu in question: xfx rx 560 single fan 4gb
Cpu: i7-4770
Ram: 16 gb ram ddr3
Psu: cooler master elite v3 500w

Go back over your work and check that you have mounted the cooler back on the card correctly. Check your cables are all seated correctly. If that doesnt work then your card is most likely toast.

Make sure the fan is spinning up too. Sometimes a cable might slow to a stop as well if your cable management is an issue.

Looks like your GPU is a goner.

Probably GPU RAM chips malfunctioning.

RIPperino.
