Is this thermal paste or phase change pad?

I'm looking at MSI RTX4000 and 5000 series gpu reviews, there's no mention if it's regular paste or PTM7950.

Did MSI use PTM7950 on their RTX4000 series gpu's?

Let me ask it more straightforward. Does MSI RTX 4070 Super Gaming X Slim use Phase-Change Thermal Pads so it won't pump out like Asus paste?
I asked ChatGPT and he said : The MSI RTX 4070 Super Gaming X Slim indeed features Phase-Change Thermal Pads (PCTP) as part of its advanced cooling solution.
But when I asked where he got that info, I got this: To verify if the MSI RTX 4070 Super Gaming X Slim specifically uses Phase-Change Thermal Pads (PCTP), I recommend checking MSI’s official website or looking for product reviews or teardown videos that might go into detail about the cooling solutions used in that model.

I think you have to ask MSI about that, but to me those look like normal thermal pads.

i would say it's a thick paste rather than a PTM Pad since they are so thin that they would never make such a mountain of excess material around the die.

a die sized PTM would look more like this:

One way to know is if the paste appears solid or not, PTM solidifies when cold, regular paste should still be somewhat liquid on a relatively new card. Looks like some form of PTM to me.
