Created for young listeners, JBL launches three new junior headphones featuring next-generation JBL Safe Sound. With volume and playtime limits, activity reports, and a personalized countdown reminder, kids can now enjoy JBL Sound tailored for little ears with the wireless JBL Junior 470NC and JBL Junior 320BT.

Hearing health is at the heart of the new JBL Junior range, with new parental app control innovations taking JBL Safe Sound beyond simply an 85dB volume limit. Available in vibrant, playful colors to suit every kid's preference, and new, larger child-friendly controls, the new headphones combine clear, safe sound with all-day comfort and durability.

Kid-safe sound, parent approved
JBL Junior 470NC and JBL Junior 320BT bring added parental control via the JBL Headphones app. Set the max volume and how long kids can listen for. With 'time-up' reminders, parents can even record their own voice for prompt notifications.

Keeping an eye on their listening times has never been easier. Tap the app to provide real-time volume and activity time indicators, and daily or weekly activity reports on volume and time exposure to help maintain safe listening habits. Enjoy JBL Safe Sound without compromising on quality. Active Noise Cancelling in JBL Junior 470NC creates a personal sound bubble to help kids block out distracting sounds and allow them to enjoy music and videos at an even lower volume.

"At JBL, we are committed to driving innovation and that extends to our new JBL Junior headphones, designed to bring next generation JBL Safe Sound to those starting out on their personal audio journey. By introducing advanced parental controls through our JBL Headphones App, we're creating an audio experience that's both enjoyable and safe for young listeners," Carsten Olesen, President of Consumer Audio at JBL.

Wireless freedom
Created to be ultra-portable, durable, and super comfortable, JBL Junior 470NC and 320BT are compact, foldable and free from wires, perfect for when they're on the go. Keep them entertained for longer, with increased battery life and fast charging. Up to 50 hours of battery for

JBL Junior 320BT and JBL Junior 470NC make them ideal for car rides or plane journeys. Multi-point connection also means you can have multiple devices on the go, easily switching from one Bluetooth device to another.

I see that brand loyalty must be nurtured. It would appear that they went out of their way to make sure that nobody could fairly criticize them for damaging young hearings, with all but the base model.

However a big but is, if headphone-wearing teens and adults are stereotypically inattentive of where they are going, what would noise-cancelling-headphone-wearing kids be like?
