The Kinesis Advantage360 is a premium split mechanical keyboard designed from the ground up with typing ergonomics in mind. It uses clever contoured key wells, thumb clusters, integrated tenting, and easily mappable keys via onboard and software customization to offer a great typing experience, albeit at a cost.

Oh man, that looks so comfy. Hopefully, this type of keyboard will become cheaper as 3D printing and PCB development advances. Really expensive, but one has mastered the art of touch typing, it's well worth the investment.

Oh man, every time I see a good ergo keyboard like this I spend some time considering if I can fit one into my life and then abandon the idea again; I use too many keyboards on a daily basis to move away from a standard layout. If I had a "main PC" that I spent more than about 50% of my time on, I'd be all over this Kinesis. As it is, the closest I think I could be happy with is something like this, modernised for n-key rollover and some high-quality switches:

I've mentally moved the "rebuild a 1998 Natural Elite into a custom mechanical keyboard" project a little further up the to-do list, but realistically not high enough up the list that I'll get around to it anytime soon. :\

Damn you, procrastination, you win this battle!

Keychron has some keyboards that use a similar format
