Cache Latency Computation
The cache latency computation tool allows to gather information about the cache hierarchy of the system. For each cache level, it provides its size and its latency. Please note that code caches are not reported.

Seems like the results are buggy. Gallatin has L1, L2, and L3. Northwood has ONLY L1, L2. Will give feedback and link to the cpuid.com team.

P4EE, has L1, L2, L3 cache. Results from latency test seem buggy.

I hate to also correct you lemonadesoda, in reference to yoru table,lower latency is better, so in theory, your table should go lowest to highest.

When you download CPU-Z, in the zip file there's another executable file called "latency.exe". It's outside of the actual CPU-Z program.

Edit: Woops, nevermind. It appears they don't include it in the zip anymore. Also...JrRacinFan beat me to it.

Another cache bug.

I think latency.exe is struggling understanding the cache structure of the CPUs esp. in HT or dual core. Shame.

Reran with some different changes. CPU clock at stock albeit with different multi, NB speed increased from previous, and RAM speed decreased. Overall noticeable improvement in latency.

One more run of the test Put the CPU multi back up to 11.5 and came up with this....
