this looks like it might be true too, coming from a trustworthy leaker.
I smell another price inflation based on new, 50-series exclusive features. I don't think rasterization fans will see that much of an improvement. My bet is new, revised version of super resolution and ray reconstrution for 20-series to 40-series, and a new AI feature for 50-series only that might improve RT performance primarily, giving 50 series another 20-25% added performance over previos generations. I'd be very surprised if dlss4 in its entirety did not require some new, 50-series exclusive hw. Nvidia might feel like they need a strong response to FSR4. I don't wanna slam them too hard before this thing is officially announced, but we all know how David Leatherman operates.
I still want DLSS4 to be a great leap though, even if it requires exclusive hardware. No need to jump on the train immediately after launch, I'm fine with sitting out 50-series.
