Hi guys,
I'm experiencing some weird stuff after replacing RAM from 16gb (2x8) 2400mhz cl19 to 16gb (2x8) 2933 CL17 HyperX (legion with 10th gen can run 3200mhz, so thats not an issue). In case you wonder WHY WOULD YOU SPEND MONEY ON THAT (which I hope you know there is a quite big difference in performance between these two) - my wife had 4 gigs of ram in her laptop, that can run 2400mhz sticks, so this was just best option.
The CPU runs at limited speed due to current limit throttling - see below.
Current throttling starts when i boot the windows and it doesn't go away. The last time i checked, there was no current limit, the CPU was running at 4.5-4.7 GHZ, even under load. Temps were great as for the laptop (didn't ever exceed 83 degrees). I would try undervolting, but as you can see, its greyed out. I can change the values in ThrottleStop, but it doesn't seem to make any difference (i can slide voltage offset even to -1000mv and it won't crash, so it doesn't work). I've already checked bios/uefi and there is no Power section, so that can't help me.
Any idea if this is solvable, or I need to ship it back to Lenovo (which i rather not do, as I use this laptop for both work and gaming)?
Edit: attaching also Cinebench r23 score (about 1k points lower than it should), and XTU screen made while running C23.
