Hi, since my laptop broke last week I am now in the market for a new setup. My main problem is that the last time I informed myself was when I bought my first PC with a GTX 660. I've been scrolling Amazon a bit just to check out what I can expect in the price range, but it is hard for me to compare the systems without the necessary background knowledge. Thus, I am hoping for some adivce/common pitfalls buying prebuild (which I would prefer, since I want something with a long guarantee after my refurbished gaming laptop broke within a year).

It would be great if you could give me some direct advice or point me to some sources where I can read up comprehensively on newer gen graphics cards and stuff.

In my profile you can see my previous Laptop, I don't need much more power to be fair, but after a long time with constant tech problems I want something I can rely on for the coming years.

Any advice/sources/guides are welcome, since I would say I don't know anything.
