I had corsair AX760i work like charm , but recently i heard small noise came from its fan , combined with its usage for more than 12 years old ... i decide to replace it with more wattage
so i found XPG Core Reactor II 1000 watt good choice . after saw alot of positive reviews ...
my score in 3dmark and cyberpunk2077 is noticeably less with new PSU ( it suppost to be better since i use single cable 12VHPWR instead of 3x8pin as well as it have stronger 12 volt )
( AX760i 12 volt : 11.95 idle - 11.77 heavy gaming / while for XPG 12.05 idle-11.92)
score as below :
AX760i :
Steel nomad : 7508
Time spy graphic : 29920
Speed way : 8380
Port royal : 21645
Cyberpunk 4k Ultra : 63.5 FPS
Core reactor II 1000 watt :
Steel nomad : 7422
Time spy graphic : 28933
Speed way :8168
Port royal : 21045
Cyberpunk 4k Ultra : 59.8 FPS
i used same OC setting EXACTLY : 17000 GDDR7/ +415 core clock with 116% power limit ....
the new power work great and CPU and DDR5 OC not affected at all
where is the problem ??
thanks
