Quick question as this cooler shares the fans and pump as one header to the CPU is it adviced when using it as PWM to run it at constant speed for example 60% as can’t imagine fluctuations in the speeds will be very good for the pump ?

Hi.

If you can see here in this picture

IMG_20220111_133158.jpg

You can see that there are two sets of cables. 1x3 wire and 1x4 wire. The 4 wire would be your fans for pwm. The 3 wire would be for the pump motor and 3wire/3pin cables do not support pwm, so when you plug it in. It will be running at its full speed regardless of fan settings in the bios.

The 4th wire is usually there to carry extra data to the pwm controller, but if there is only 3wires (3pins) it's not going to be able to be controlled unless you go out of your way to do it
