Perhaps something more speedy and modern could have been released? But this?
- it has DP 1.2 link at 21 Gbps, so no HDR support, unless explicitly stated to support, which it does not
- it has HDMI 2.0, so 4K 60Hz at 8-bit; is it HDMI 2.0? Is it HDMI 2.0a (HDR)? Is is HDMI 2.0b (more HDR)? Not stated either, so we are in darkness
- USB ports are slow; no 20 Gbps support

Who is this product for? Office workers?

Be thankful - the KVM I'm using to type this post on doesn't even support USB 3.0. That's sadly the status quo in the dock/KVM market - old technology coupled with high prices. I'm waiting for the Chinese to disrupt this market too and put all the rip-off merchants out of business.

Rather vague specs for such a product, indeed.

Oh well, you will upgrade at some point, but not with this product. If you move to HDR displays, this dock would cripple it.
Those who have GPUs already have 3-4 or even more outputs, so I can only see this product for offices where PC I/O is not rich with ports.
