It's not entirely 100% metal but the case is ,the keys are ABS plastic, but the shell of the keyboard base itself is brushed aluminum i think its aluminum

theyve dropped in price too

$120 for Kalih Blue switch is considered a good deal? Care to tell me what I have missed while I was away from my mech keyboard hobby?

I got my Logitech G710+ on sale 4 years cherry blues for $49 free ship. and last year same black friday sale got me come cherry mx red Logitech G610 $54 free ship. I mean they are not RGB, but I find the gentle White LED backlights more relaxing anyway.

may I ask why metal is so important to you? My Logitechs are both very sturdy.

Metal does imply quality. I would much rather have a quality plastic keyboard that feels great at the end my fingers (and under my wrist - very important for me!) than a pretty metal keyboard that does not feel good, does not offer good wrist support, or does not input key characters every time as expected.

Because a keyboard that feels great to me may be uncomfortable, or even painful to you, I say you need to visit computer stores and play touchy-feely for yourself. If you can't do that and have to buy on-line, make sure the retailer has a generous "no questions asked" return policy. By generous, I mean one that is at least 30 days (so you, your fingertips, and your wrists have time to adjust) and returns are free. You might have to pay return shipping, but there should be no restocking penalty fee.

Same with mice.

where do you see him asking for a "good deal" ? he asked for other metal based KB's other than corsair, i answered, and i answered well too, since i own that Azio MGK, and its a really nice KB. (i just answer the questions asked)
Care to tell me what I have missed while I was away from my mech keyboard hobby?
nope.
I got my Logitech G710+ on sale 4 years cherry blues for $49 free ship.
im glad you got a good deal, but as you can see HERE, the G710 is above $100 too

TBH, id take my Azio over that G710 any day, but thats just personal taste. for the record, i bought my MGK for under $70 on newegg just after they released, but they got popular sincethe build quality is amazing, so the price followed suite.

I am after the Azio build for sure, but something with a more classic look, less gamer. I have a corsair now and it's great but the stealth coolness is bringing up questions from clients in my office, asking what games I play ... LOL

How about that Logitech, G413 ? Or this ?

Which one of the two would you go for ?

Nixeus is a highly reputable brand, I would pick the Nixeus anyday. I still think Cherry MX switches just feel better and are better built though, just my opinion.

why not made in china?
Good point. Made in China does not automatically mean poor quality. In fact, many top quality products are made in China. And in fact, it probably would be hard to find a keyboard not made in China.

What matters is the company behind it, their design, quality of the parts used in assembly, and the quality control implemented at the factory. These are all things the company whose brand name is on the product can control - if they want to invest the resources into it.

I just took a quick look at several Microsoft, A4-Tech, and Logitech keyboards and mice here - all were made in China and A4-Tech is even a Taiwanese company. And they are all quality products. In fact, I don't know who makes the Wireless Comfort 5000 and 5050 keyboards and mice for Microsoft, but they are great. I have 3 of them.

If the quality of a product is poor, it is not because it was made in China. Cheap quality products can come from anywhere.
