The Meze Audio Liric is a premium set of portable closed-back headphones developed in partnership with Rinaro Isodynamics. It uses a hybrid array, dual voice coil planar magnet drivers paired with many other novel engineering systems to make for a luxurious and comfortable listening experience on the go.

Designed and engineered in my hometown, really proud of the team from Meze!
The good part is that they have much more affordable kits of very good quality with a natural sound:

I don't know about you, but I would not say the 99 Neo has a natural sound: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/meze-99-neo-headphones/

@ VSG you're quite right in that I should have mentioned what I mean because without context there isn't anything helpful for others.

First I can confirm that these are the types of headphones that do require from the first moment to take some time and customize the equalizer and in this way you can get something more nuanced especially if you're like me and want less bass and more mids and highs so I encourage people to give it a try with the EQ if you encounter a Meze kit somewhere and have the chance to give it a short try.

Second I can only compare them with a few of 60-170$ sets from other vendors, many probably were "gaming" oriented so I can't even dream to come close to the number of headphones that you've tested so these reviews from TPU are truly invaluable.

Keep up the awesome job with the audio reviews !

Thanks for the kind words, and the context you provided definitely helps others too.
