I think the title is pretty self explanatory, but here is the context: After buying something like 7 different G602s over the course of probably 4 years or so, I finally got a different mouse. I liked the G602 because it was the first wireless mouse I used that didn't feel like a wireless mouse, because it was incredibly ergonomic, and had amazing battery life. Why did I buy the same mouse 7 different times you ask? Well, I seem to have an abusive relationship with my middle mouse button, because every single G602 that I've owned, the middle mouse button has failed and was the primary motivator for replacing it. The G602 was cheap ($35 USD,) and I didn't really mind paying that every 9 months or so, but I was totally sick of replacing it. So I replaced it with a Logitech MX Master 3. I got it because it was the closest mouse that had the same ergonomic feel as the G602. Not the same, but pretty similar, but with a much heftier price tag of $100 USD. So I've spent the last hour using it, and it's pretty great so far. It also got me to wondering what other people's opinion of mice are. I'm curious because a lot of the gaming mice that I felt, had weird designs to them or were designed to be ambidextrous, which completely screws up the ergonomics of the mouse (in my opinion.)

So I'm curious what everyone else uses, why they use it, and how the settled on it. It seems like a good discussion topic, so please, have at it.

The Logitech G602 because I got it on a sale and it's wireless. I dislike it immensely and I miss the IME 3.0. I need wireless though.

What did you not like about the G602? My only complaint was that the middle mouse button died on every single one. Beyond that, it was pretty good.

G903 lightspeed is by far the best. I love this mouse. It's not cheap, but that hero sensor is so awesome for FPS games and I'm very surprised of how long the build in battery hold between recharge, specially if you disable the RGB light. Ive had it for 6 months now and I have only recharge it 2 times so far.

You can apselutely feel the the difference from a G700S to G903. Also the ergonomic is good, at least for my hand. You can also use it regardless of you are right og left handed.

I actually looked at the G700 and G903. They look nice, but they just weren't ergonomic to me. The G903 felt really weird. I understand mice being ambidextrous, but it doesn't feel like a mouse I could use every day for hours. I don't really play FPS games anymore, so that's also a thing. The most "twitchy" game I play is WoW and trying to heal without a middle mouse button absolutely sucks. That's great battery life though. The thing I liked about the G602 is that I could put my own batteries in it, so I always had a pair of NiMH batteries ready to go when they got low or died, which typically took ~3 months using two 2300mAh batteries. With this, I'll actually have to plug it in occasionally. Not sure if it's going to impact my opinion of it or not though.

Honestly, if they had an ergonomic G903, I probably would have gotten it, but it has to be wireless and it has to be ergonomic. Those are two major requirements for me.

I have very specific mice for certain games.

Razer Naga 2014 edition - because it is 1mm or 2mm smaller than the newer Nagas (which my hands can't grip well enough), and I use this mouse for MMO's and other RPG's where I have quick access to all 12 buttons, took me several months to master, but now I am faster with my thumb then my left hand ever could be on keyboard. It does seem to give me an advantage in DPS meters on WoW anyway.

Logitech G303 - no longer in production, but it has a matte front and glossy back end, and I hold this mouse in a very unique way due to its small size. It improves accuracy in FPS games a lot for me.

Roccat Kone 10 yr edition - I use this one just for casual gaming, it has a different feel, makes my hand mold differently to the mouse, which is probably good for my muscles to switch things up sometimes.

My primary PC's have the Logi M510 wireless mouse. Works fine for websurfing, youtube, lightroom, office, etc.
I have an unbranded hp wired mouse which allows adjustable dpi setting on the fly. It is plugged into my gaming PC. Far from a 'gaming mouse', but fills a need.

Too heavy. Too imprecise, somehow, no matter the settings. Too many buttons.

I use a Fenek Swift because; it's a good medium weight, is actually ergonomic to my hand (palm grip, mostly), it wasn't too expensive, has a decent 3360 sensor with a few DSP settings built in, and I'm otherwise not too picky for features. Just has to fit. I used a Nexxtech Best Buy Special chunky plastic ball of a mouse for years because it didn't make my fingers lock up at the joints or cause weird throbbing sensations from awkward positioning. The Swift isn't the same exact shape but it was close enough that transitioning didn't leave my hand in traction like some others I tried.

I have six mouse. Each for all four of my computers and two as backup/spare. All of them are wireless cheap Chinese brand worth no more than $20 each, two are Bluetooth mouse. Three of them run off a single AA battery while the other two run off a single AAA battery and the other one uses rechargeable 200 mAh battery. They have served me well throughout the years and only one had to be replaced which had the double-clicking issue with a single click.

Hi,
Been using redragon perditions 16400 for the last few years love the darn things have three now
901_2 threw me off a little bit but figured out why it was wonky unlike the other 2 pure 901
I change the polling rate to 125Hz never saw an issue on 901 but the 901_2 did not like it so switched it to 500Hz default and all is well = very weird it would make so much difference.

I use a first gen Logitech MX Master, and I absolutely love it.

It has programmable buttons and a horizontal scroll wheel. It's comfortable for long periods of time and feels really solid and high quality. The vertical scroll wheel is really nice.

Some people might not like it because it's very heavy for a mouse. I do sometimes struggle to make precise movements in games.

I got it in 2014 as a gift for participating in a beta testing program for it. Going on nearly seven years of use with no signs of stopping. I intend to use it until it dies, at which point I'll replace it with another MX Master.

I used a Logitech G5 for about a decade or so.. I had millions of clicks on it, I know it.. I had to retire it. My brother offered to give me a new Zowie EC2 Evo. That was about 3 years ago I guess.. its ok. I still miss my G5 though. My old G15 is naked without it. I bought my kid a G910 the Christmas before last, it matches my ram lol.. rainbow wave machine.

I have a iHome mouse. I got it for Christmas 2020. Its wireless and works better for my laptop than the touchpad thing that laptops have. my other mouse is corded its a Logitech m100 it works well for the desktop computer that I was using. I have tried other mice such as the Razor Naga but most really fancy mice don't last me very long.

I use Logitech MX Master (1st gen) and also had its predecessor (can’t remember name). I like the side buttons and the dynamic wheel function (click and free rotation). Great battery life, programmable buttons.

Also I use “Logitech MX Anywhere” for laptop usage. Literally goes anywhere with its dark field laser, even on a glass of a window...

Logitech G500 here, I think it's been in use for about 10 years, clicks became a bit loud but it still works, used a wireless mice once and then I knew everything had to be wired. Might get a new one when I'll make a build.

Huh?!? Am I missing something here? Where is the cable, dude? That mouse ain't gonna work unless you shove a USB cord up between it's ass-crack! :kookoo: :rockout: Unless, of course, it's a wireless (reads: psychic) mouse. :twitch::respect:

That is also the coolest mouse stand ever... of all time!:peace:

Viper Ultimate because optical switches and lowest click latency of any wireless mouse. Also very lightweight and the dock is nice.
