AMD offerings look (and perform - GPU wise, at least) a LOT more appealing. The Ryzen 9 7940HS is an absolute beast, coupled with fast DDR5 memory!

There is a 7940HS version, the UM790 Pro. Currently priced at $519 barebone, or $699 with 32Gb DDR5 and 1TB NVME SSD.

The Intel UN1265 is $309 barebone, or $419 with 32Gb DDR4 and 1TB NVME SSD.

Both are pre-order and include Windows 11 Pro.
