If you don't race for a "design", go for cheapest MSI MB PRO Z790-P WIFI DDR4 SOKET 1700 DDR4 5333MHZ(OC) = 220 $.;)
If you will put i7/i9 in future then MAYBE "TOMAHAWK" is worth it.
Won't buy Z690 these days for fckn SAME price as for Z790 - same rule goes backwards - won't buy Z790 if there are Z690 TON cheaper.;)

Are you really OC your 12600K? Will you put i7/i9 in future? If "no", there are B760 options - just, of course, check if they are really worth cheaper than Z counterparts.:)

Well...from that list I guess you set your eyes on MSI as a brand :D, but it is not possible to answer your question. What are you looking for in this motherboard? Do you need USB-C Gen 2.0 for the front panel of your case? Will you OC? What kind of drives you want to combine? That's all up to you.

Wonder what difference P and A version
little diff, but usually "A" are better, and "naming" and "what's better" is same for MSI and ASUS LOL:D
I wonder who "snatched" the naming:D

Will not OC manually. Got Asus Proart pa case

And you say "I won't overclock".
But can u use full potential of the system with 660 cards?

as much as there is a proper power goes to CPU from MB VRM, you will use FULL POTENTIAL. ;) OC these days is pure "money game", just compare:
back then you could "OC" your Pentium cheapo CPU for a pretty 800+ MHz, now if you try to OC your "hot" 12600K to this, then you will need some N2O stuff to get it cooled and anyway 500 MHz is more realistic...

The question should be "Will I utilize the full potential of the CPU/mobo". And you should have asked that when you made a choice to buy 12600k which you don't want to OC.

So the only difference is extra m2 lots and usbc etc. What about e cores there will be no problem with 660 ?

That's what I was trying to say sorry

Yeah but isn't that upgrade over 12400f?

None of these boards are a good fitment for Intel Alder and Raptor Lake processors. You should really consider a DDR5 board so you're not leaving a bunch of performance on the table.

My 2 pennies.
GL!
