Saw this case recently and weally weally like the front and side glass with the curved edge. With its affordable price tag i'm guessing there may be some compromises when compared to the level of quality Lian Li has displayed over the years. What are your thoughts on this case?

Does Lian Li or anyone else offer something similar? The Hyte Y60 with its 3-glass panel make up is equally appealing but not entirely fond of the vertical GPU mount. One of the reasons i've taken a liking to these types of "throw ur PSU on the back" cases is achieving air intake from below directed towards power munching high performance GPUs hence i'd prefer a horizontal installation.

(hope that Montech plate on the upper back wall is removeable, not a biggie i'll just tape/vinyl/paint it black)

Can't speak to that specific case, but I have a MonTech Air X and have been happy with it. A relatively new brand, but I think they make some very high value cases.

So if it fits your needs & budget, then I say go for it & be happy !

I've ran my hands through a budget Montech Air 100 which was quite impressive for the money and the newer Air 905 is getting a ton of good feedback too. Dunno why, i just don't like the name... "montech" maybe because it sounds like the worst day of the week "Monday" lol. They should have called it "Fritech" or "Saturday-dayoff-feetup-siptea-relax-tech". I guess if the product is above expectation and delivers on all fronts we can definitely look past the name (or cover it with something since Montech loves to drop big fonts on their cases). Anyway the king 95's won me over big time!

If you need 200mm fan support or 420mm Radiator support and more than 7 PCI slots then Deepcool has quitely added CH780 recently with similar layout to current breed of cases with fans on side panel and glass on front. It should be a sub $150 case similar to Montech and a decent budget option.

Montech has been on a roll lately. I can't think of any obvious reason to avoid it (I'd happily buy one).

I'd take a look at other dual chambers in that price range, including:
the Phanteks NV5 ♥️
NZXT H6 Flow (dislike it personally, but it could work for you)
Antec Constellation C8 (new at time of writing, and compelling) ✨

If the Montech is more appealing than those three for your uses after research, that's your winner.

I liked what I dug up about this case and had been viewing info on it as well as the comparable NZXT H9 Elite Dual -

- but I don't think my ASRock Taichi 870e motherboard would fit since it's e-atx. I haven't found any confirmation that a Taichi 870e E-ATX would fit unfortunately, so I'm probably going to go with a Antec C8 curved wood instead. The Montech King 95 is a great looking case and nice features though.

Montech replied to my query on amazon stating that they would not recommend the e-ATX motherboard in this case since it would likely infringe on the front fan bracket/area. Just thought I'd post the follow up. I still do like the case other than that fact. I'd have gotten one if I wasn't planning for my e-ATX Taichi board.

That board looks about the same size as my old Rampage V Extreme, it's not THAT much wider than a standard full-sized ATX board. Had no problems with a Phanteks P400S back in the day with that board.
