My pc doesn't detect my gpu, i tried everything, updating bios, resetting bios settings to default, removing the intel igpu drivers and installing amd's nothing worked.
my pc specs :
i5- 4670K
8gb ram
amd r9 280x vapor-x tri-x OC 3gb (the undetected gpu)
note: my pc is a prebuilt (Hp prodesk 600 g1 twr) so i literally dont understand a thing in the bios, but i could open the system information but theres no pci slot infomation, my cpu and ram and hdd pop up but no gpus, i think its about the bios or uefi because i understand nothing in them.
i also use an external psu 300w (288w max) while my gpu's max is 250w, first i plug two 8 pin connectors in my gpu then connect the cord into the outlet in and make a short in the 26 connector then it powers on, then i plug the dvi cable in the gpu, after that i connect the main pc's cord and power on, the gpu fans spin and lights turns on so i dont think its a pci problem.
