Wow, what a way to be woken up. My wife and I were sound asleep this morning when there was banging on the side of our bedroom window (which is located towards the rear of our home, with a fence between us and the street. It was the Fire dept. They were yelling through our window about an emergency and to come to our door. groggily we quickly tossed some clothes on and went to our front door to find 3 firemen and one police officer. They claimed that someone had called 911 and that they were investigating. After assuring them that we were all ok and no help was needed (we checked both kids too) they said ok and left.
I returned to my bedroom and looked at my phone, a 911 call had been placed. wtf? I quickly walked outside where the Police officer was parked and explained to him that my phone showed a 911 call going out but that I was sleeping. He thanked me and then took off.
So I have a Oneplus 12 and wear a Oneplus watch 2 while sleeping. Does anyone know how this could happen? My phone was charging on my bedside table. Looking over my phone, I'm not sure how this happened. I don't want this to happen again though. Not a good way to wake up. lol A complete waste of city resources too I might add.
/edit I just turned off SOS in settings. I still want to know why this happened. Did it hear me snoring and think I was dying??
