OK lets get down to business. I bought a Gigabyte, and I really like it, very intuitive bios. Along came the opportunity to grab an 860, so my 750 needed a new home. I took the plunge into a brand I have always had issues with, and against my better judgment bought an ASUS, yes I got the P55 LE, but still the board seems FAIL in my hands.

I am looking for experienced suggestions on a good replacement so I can sell this Asus and get it out of my life;)

I'm not looking for uber leet, but if the price is good, I can swing it. My goal is just a mild OC utilizing my Ripjaws 2000mhz potential. Keep in mind it just surfs for the most part and folds her 285. As always if the board is capable it will be clocked within an inch of its life.

Suggestions??? Go! :toast:

Gigabyte FTW....I have the P55-UD4P and P55-UD5 running my i860 and i750 respectively and I can really say anything bad about them.

I've got the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P with an E8500 plugged into it. It runs at 4.11GHz 24/7 and could go significantly higher if I really tuned my system with watercooling etc.

The board is rock solid, the construction is fantastic and the BIOS brilliant. To me, Gigabyte are the current Abit of the mobo market right now and I would choose it over any other brand.

See what I got for trying to branch out....I love my UD6 and would love a deal on another, but at the time I saved over $100 on the difference, and now I see why;)

Still open to other suggestions, since Newegg wont ship over the weekend no point in buying anything before Sunday night.

Peety, hey I have absolutely no personal experience with i5 boards but I will recommend these based on the small amount of research I have done.

1st Evga's P55 FTW
Tons of overclocking but $200+

2nd and more realistic Evga's P55 E653:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188054
$160 w/2x PCI-E slots, 2Ghz mem support, great overclocking support(from forum reading).

Thanks guys....what I seem to find in alot of boards is the BLCK will go past 200 but only if the ram is lowered. Im really looking for a board that is confirmed to run over a 200BLCK with a 10X memory multi. I know both the ram and the CPU can do it, I just need a board to partner up.

Based on this, for now rick I'm going to have to pass, as most of your images and reviews show it may not be what Im looking for.

On a side note, I may just up my UD6 and give her this.

Would the suggestions change?

Was thinking EVGA but heard they had some bios disfunctions, can this be confirmed or denied?

I get what you are driving at, but I have become accustomed to running near 2200 on my tridents and the GB will run to about 216 before it poops out. I know it sounds picky but I dont want to run 2000mhz ram under spec, I prefer over if possible.
