right now I have what is on the picture. It's a 5200MAH battery. I need at least 3 hours long battery, I looked online and found this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N198IN1 for 30$ but it's a 4400mAh so I suspect it will be not the max/longest time battery I can get. Can anyone tell me what's the best battery I can get for this laptop? preferably one that last 8 hours.

How long does your current battery last? Eight hours would require an external battery bank. It's an old laptop, not very effecient. And those cheap batteries have a tendency to be overrated, and not very long lasting.

1 hour avg. Yea probably not very efficient laptop but I'm sure I could find a 4 hour long battery at least, the one I got seems to be a good kind just used up.

8 hours, might look into getting a tablet if you want 8hrs, or a newer AMD processor laptop.
I would look on ebay for a battery.

since it's removable, just buy 3 and you will have 8 hours on battery
honestly it's not realistic to have 8 hours on 1 battery without mod them

And how would you modify a battery? I don't how a battery, with cells strapped and sealed inside a battery case, can be modified. But if it could, I don't see how it could be expected to still fit inside the laptop.

IMO, the only solution is that suggested by Frick - use an external battery pack. But even then, if we are talking about 8 hours of "continuous" use, it would take a huge battery pack and/or some serious power savings measures - like throttling back speeds, reducing screen brightness, switching from HDD to SSD, and more. Even 3 hours of "continuous" use is demanding - especially if running demanding tasks, like games.
I'm sure I could find a 4 hour long battery at least
I highly doubt it - not unless the original battery when everything was brand new lasted that long. And in looking at a couple reviews, it looks like when new, getting 2 hours of runtime was a stretch.

The problem is, there is no "form factor" industry standard for laptops like the ATX Form Factor used in PCs. Therefore, they are extremely proprietary and that includes the batteries.

If the laptop originally came with a 5400mAh battery, then you should replace it with at least a 5400mAh battery. Going with a lower mAh rating will not even give you the original run time. Larger than 5400mAh will increase the run time, but you MUST be absolutely certain the physical dimensions are the same, as well as the electrical connection and voltage are the same as the original too.

Get two of those, and reconfigure your pack to 3s5p. Camo duct tape so no one will notice it

Or, re-cell your pack with one of them.

LOL

Well certainly 18650s in 3s5p configuration will provide the necessary 10.8V and enough current. But "no one will notice"? LOL

Actually, this is not a bad idea if you know what you area. It most likely will be cheaper than buying an equivalent power pack. However, the power pack will come with the appropriate ports, and maybe even a charger.
