New 8800GT from EVGA. It's a dual slot cooler thing.

They made a new gT with a better cooler. you can buy the cooler for $40 or buy the card for $290.


It's overclocked and beats the regular GT by about 3000 marks.

i got 2 vanilla GT's and both clocked to 760mhz no problem and i paid a lot less than $290 each for them.

still the pre-oc does cater for the market of people who want that extra performance but don't want to risk having to do it themselves.

but for the TRUE tweakers like us, i reckon vanilla and mod that sh*t up!

i saw a pair of vanilla GT's on ebay that were volt modded and could run 850mhz and they sold for $1800 for the pair. that's crazy!!!

yes thats just a tad too much to ask for innit, so was it that they WERE running 850mhz, or that they could, cos thats a lot of money for a "maybe"
