I just breadboarded my new pc build because there wasent a POST when i put it together. Still no post i tryed turning on the motherboard without the cpu and the mouse lit up and no fans. But with the cpu the mouse did not light up. I tryed using the motherboard speaker and it did not sound, even when i turned it on with no ram. Im thinking its the cpu or motherboard any ideas. I also dont have any spare parts and tryed moving the ram.

1, Make sure you have the correct 8pin plugged in. Check all your connections.

2. Pull it from mains and take out the little cmos battery. Let the machine sit for a few minutes before putting the battery back in and attempting to boot up again.

3. Let us know how it goes.

Placing a motherboard on a cut open anti static bag doesn't help either...

I have not seen someone say breadboard in a long time.

You do need to get it off the anti static bag. I'd also plug a fan into the CPU header. In the last pic you have the CMOS battery removed, I presume you put it back in?

Yeah, but i did have to raise the motherboard up a bit with some paper books because the pcie bracket was on the bag not pluging in all the way.

I tryed takin out thw cmos and reinstalling it, that did not so anything. And i did make sure that the 8pin is plugged in corectly. Also do you think a power supply can cause the problem?
