Hey guys

David from Sweden with another thread asking for help with identifying a 580 2048sp. Help me out I got a card with single fan (one speed) 8gb, Samsung memory, works with drivers but would like to give it a gaming bios maybe with normal fan adjustment if possible..

I have picture of GPU-Z will post when I come home.

thanks every one

Please provide a clear picture of the whole PCB. Currently we are missing a large part of the top side of the PCB.

Can you confirm Samsung K4G41325FE is written on the memory chips?

They are

Its interesting to see a card with 16 chips to make 8Gs though.

I see a RX588X16-V30

Being a 16 chip card and a single fan, it needs all the help it can get, thats a part of why some cards run at high speed

I've found two other bioses with different bios build dates. They should work but try at own risk:
Older bios build date:

Newer bios build date:

Processor Atom Z3735F 1.33GHz
Motherboard It has no markings but it's green
Cooling No, it's a 2.2W processor
Memory 2GB DDR3L-1333
Video Card(s) Gen7 Intel HD (4EU @ 311MHz)
Storage 32GB eMMC and 128GB Sandisk Extreme U3

Case Veddha T2
Audio Device(s) Apparently, yes
Power Supply Samsung 18W 5V fast-charger
Mouse MX Anywhere 2
Keyboard Logitech MX Keys (not Cherry MX at all)
VR HMD Samsung Oddyssey, not that I'd plug it into this though....
Software W10 21H1, barely
Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
Are these 16-chip variants just rebadged RX570 4GB models that went back and had more GDDR5 soldered on to repurpose them for the mining market in a hurry?

I can't imagine 16 * 8 Gigabit chips ever being cheaper to make than 8 * 16 Gigabit chips on one side, but I can imagine a bunch of unsold 4GB cards sitting in an AIB's inventory at the height of the ETH mining boom and being sent back to assembly to have some more chips thrown on the back.

Off-topic: There is even a RX580 (2048SP) 16GB card on the market :)

The 2048 sp is the typical mining edition
