More than 700 games and applications feature RTX technologies, and each week new games integrating NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and advanced ray-traced effects are released or announced, delivering the definitive PC experience for GeForce RTX players. Star Wars Outlaws' latest update is out now, adding DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, an upgraded DLSS Frame Generation model for improved performance and reduced VRAM usage, and the new DLSS transformer AI model for DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS Ray Reconstruction, and DLAA, further enhancing your PC experience.

Later today, Avowed launches with DLSS, Reflex, and ray tracing, and by using NVIDIA app's new DLSS 4 overrides, you can further enhance your experience in Avowed by adding DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, and new and improved AI models that upgrade DLSS Super Resolution, DLAA, and DLSS Frame Generation. A new DLSS Frame Generation, Reflex, and ray tracing update for the popular Wuthering Waves launches today, too. And next week, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle introduces DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction, updates DLSS Super Resolution and DLAA to use our new transformer-based AI model, and adds fully ray-traced shadows from all light sources.

Avowed Available Today With DLSS Multi Frame Generation Via NVIDIA App Override, Plus DLSS Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, Reflex & Ray Tracing
Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios' Avowed launches today in Advanced Access for Premium Edition buyers, followed by the full release on February 18th. Set in the fictional world of Eora, which was first introduced to players in the Pillars of Eternity franchise, Avowed sends players to investigate rumors of a plague spreading throughout the Living Lands - an island full of mysteries and secrets, danger and adventure, choices and consequences, and untamed wilderness. You soon discover a personal connection to the Living Lands, and an ancient secret that threatens to destroy everything. Can you save this unknown frontier and your soul from the forces threatening to tear them asunder?

At launch, Avowed includes native support for DLSS Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, and NVIDIA Reflex, and image quality can be enhanced by enabling hardware-accelerated ray-traced reflections.

NVIDIA app users can further enhance image quality and performance in the Steam version of Avowed using DLSS 4 overrides.

Activate DLSS Multi Frame Generation on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, upgrade to the newer, faster DLSS Frame Generation AI model on GeForce RTX 50 Series and GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, upgrade DLSS Super Resolution to the new and improved transformer AI model, and add DLAA support to Avowed, enabling users with performance headroom to take image quality to the max.

Using the DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation NVIDIA app override, in conjunction with the other NVIDIA app DLSS 4 overrides, GeForce RTX 50 Series owners can multiply frame rates by 3X in Avowed at 4K, with settings and ray tracing maxed out. With the added power provided by DLSS with Multi Frame Generation, the GeForce RTX 5090 soars past 340 frames per second at 4K, delivering the definitive Avowed PC experience. At 2560x1440, a 3.2X average performance multiplier sees both the GeForce RTX 5080 and GeForce RTX 5090 exceed 320 FPS with ray tracing enabled, offering players at the increasingly popular resolution a fantastic experience. At 1920x1080, a 3.3X average performance increase enables the GeForce RTX 5090 to hit highs of 487 frames per second at the most popular gaming resolution.

It takes just a few clicks to upgrade Avowed and over 140 other games via NVIDIA app - head here to learn how.

New Dark Messiah of Might and Magic RTX Remix Trailer Released
A small team of modders under the banner of wiltOS Technologies have been working to update Ubisoft and Arkane Studios' 2006 first-person action RPG set in the Might & Magic Fantasy universe.

To give gamers full flexibility, they're crafting three different Dark Messiah of Might and Magic mods that can be used individually, or together. One updates the game itself, correcting bugs and introducing various quality of life improvements. The second adds a full online co-op campaign and other new content. And the third is a NVIDIA RTX Remix mod that gives Dark Messiah of Might and Magic a complete graphical overhaul, adding full ray tracing and DLSS.

NVIDIA RTX Remix enables modders to reimagine classic games with full ray tracing, also known as path tracing, and to update models and textures with modern rendering features that work hand in hand with ray-traced effects to deliver the level of graphical fidelity seen in Portal with RTX, our ray-traced reimagining of Valve's classic game. And with a few additional clicks, support for NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex can be introduced, accelerating performance and making gameplay even more responsive.

In a new trailer, viewable below, the team is showcasing their latest work on the RTX Remix mod, updating textures, assets, lighting, and more.

If you're a fan of the original game and have modding experience, wiltOS Technologies would love to hear from you - they need help with assets, visual effects, and other aspects of the game. Head here and let them know you're keen to assist.

Where are the 4090 and 4080 in the results? The 4070ti S isn't so much slower than the 4080/s that we can't extrapolate, but the 4090 is curiously absent. I can only assume it's because it's discontinued and the other sku's aren't yet.

Dumb NVIDIA marketing charts, just the usual. And I guess the MFG BS is now part of the regular "performance" metrics...

Lolwut? Someone call up the Project Farm guy and give him a 4070ti, 'cause we gotta test that. Can you honestly imagine playing a game like that?

Honestly: someone run it and hold up your controller so I can see the lag....5080 10x framegen. JFC.

It is in-fact very strange the actually good cards nVIDIA made are strangely absent. I wonder why this could be? Absolutely not so you don't buy them used....nopenopenopeyes.

You need to read the small text, DLSS frame gen is always used with DLLS upscaling, and in that case, they've used the performance mode. They are not extrapolating from 11 FPS. It's probably going to be like a 30FPS console experience.
I would be more concerned about how the transformer model handles visual glitches when the base FPS is fairly low.

That's fair. But still. Also, doesn't SWO have a built-in up-scalar and/or force it? Maybe I'm misremembering. Who runs that game native?

I should have said "10x the power with AI". I still would like to see what either of those look/play like on a decent-size 4k screen.

They have been for a while, it's always stated in the notes at the bottom of the slide. The 'misleading cake' for me was taken by AMD, showing gaming performance of CPUs... In a GPU limited scenario lol.

I mean, I can't excuse it because I personally think they should be there, but I wouldn't expect any manufacturer to show discontinued products that are available used only. The kicker here is despite being perhaps officially discontinued, it was super recently, and many outlets would still have brand new stock of 4080s and 4090. Typical marketing showing spinning it in the best possible light, just barely within reason.

about 20 real frames for 200 fake ones seems ridiculous for a 3000usd card, i would be embarrassed to present that crap. To bad we don't have AMD like in the old days making a tweet laughing that shit out of existence

700 games with DLSS sounds nice, yes Frame Gen is nice to have but DLSS Super Res remain the strongest reason to go for Geforce.

If few years from now we have the successor to the Transformer model running on GPU as old as RTX2000, that would be insane.

No that happens with the upcoming Nvidia DLSS4 Game Reconstruction update. Only through power of AI and the Blackwell architecture can Outlaws mediocre design become something worth playing ;)

Funny that RT is currently only an official option in Wuthering Waves with 40/50 series even tho its totally fine on 30 series already if you force enable it via a workaround:
WuwaRT1.jpg

Took me like 5 minutes to enable it while following a guide. 'only needed to edit 1 ini file and an other database file but supposedly its not bannable'
Tho I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep it like this since I just don't like to use DX12 in this game, 11 is much more stable and smoother for me but that ofc can't have RT enabled. 'This is with DLSS on ultra quality enabled cause thats how I play this game by default, TAA looks like ass in this game imo so even w/o RT I have that enabled anyway'
