More than 700 games and applications feature RTX technologies, and each week new games integrating NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and advanced ray-traced effects are released or announced, delivering the definitive PC experience for GeForce RTX players. On January 30th, we're upgrading DLSS once again with the release of DLSS 4, featuring DLSS Multi Frame Generation for GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards and laptops, and upgrades to all other DLSS technologies. 75 DLSS games and apps featuring Frame Generation can be upgraded to DLSS Multi Frame Generation on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs via the NVIDIA app. And several games and apps will be updated with native in-game support for DLSS Multi Frame Generation.

In the meantime, there are new games arriving that you can accelerate and enhance with our suite of AI-powered DLSS technologies, including Eternal Strands, Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, and Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. - full details below.

Eternal Strands Launches January 28th With DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation, DLAA & Reflex
In Eternal Strands, the debut fantasy action-adventure title from Yellow Brick Games, a new independent studio founded by industry veterans, you'll play as Brynn while you take down giant, climbable creatures. Armed with powerful abilities and an arsenal of weapons, cast and combine your magic to face enemies that range from humanoid constructs to towering beasts. Use the environment and temperature to your advantage in battles against a diverse roster of fantastical creatures, like turning a dragon's fiery breath against ice-covered minions. Climb every surface and use arcane skills to create new paths. Explore the world in pursuit of the Enclave's lost mysteries and challenge giant titans on your journey.

Launching January 28th, Eternal Strands features day 1 support for DLSS Super Resolution and Frame Generation, ensuring GeForce RTX gamers can play at the highest detail levels and resolutions, and with NVIDIA Reflex, PC latency is reduced, making gameplay more responsive. Alternatively, if frame rates are already high, activate DLAA to take image quality to new heights.

Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel Early Access Launches Today With DLSS Super Resolution
Grindstone, Games Farm, and ARTillery's Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel is a new roguelike horde-survivor game available now in Early Access. Step into the dark realm of Norse Mythology as one of four heroes and prove yourself worthy by battling through waves of mythical adversaries. Engage in adrenaline-fueled battles across hostile worlds, fighting off relentless hordes of enemies and powerful bosses while earning divine blessings from the Norse Gods on your path to becoming the Jotunnslayer.

Activate DLSS Super Resolution on GeForce RTX graphics cards and laptops, accelerating frame rates in frantic battles.

Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap Launches January 28th With DLSS Super Resolution & DLAA
Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, the newest chapter of the critically acclaimed Orcs Must Die! franchise, combines chaotic third person combat with devious trap-laying strategy. Enjoy endless replayability as your War Mage grows stronger with every battle. Repel relentless orc hordes solo or with up to four players.

Now, no two runs are the same: face intensifying waves of orcs and other hideous beasts with randomized buffs and debuffs that impact your hero, traps, weapons, stats, and the levels themselves. Environmental factors like weather and time of day further influence enemies and your defensive options. As these buffs and debuffs stack, choose to push forward against the growing hordes or return to your castle hub to power up your hero, weapons, and traps before facing a formidable Orc General in a brutal boss fight.

To ensure your frame rates are as fast as possible when battling the hundreds of on-screens Orcs, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap will launch January 28th with day-1 support for DLSS Super Resolution.

The specificity of it reminds me of the wild claims of lossless compressing a file to one byte. The cheat being there is a dictionary to download that is as big as the uncompressed file.

I tried the demo for Eternal Strands today. At 1440p native my 7900 XTX can only get ~60-70fps. Again, most UE5 games (this included) don't look good enough to justify such exorbitant resource usage, but it seems that DLSS/FSR is going to be the requirement for the engine except in rare cases (Palworld) :( Really disappointing.
