Welcome to the Official TECHPOWERUP HWBOT Team. It was decided that the unofficial team would be turned into an official team. A competitive HWBOT team will bring more prestige to the TECHPOWERUP site and forum. There are many of you that are already hardware enthusiasts and overclockers, and you may find that competing for individual points and trophies to be rewarding, maybe even addictive. There are also annual team competitions, and with the amount of hardware enthusiasts here, the team should be able to rank very competitively. The door is also open for our forum to host in-house competitions with possible monetary and/or hardware rewards.

General Rules
HWBOT is a site dedicated to overclocking. We promote overclocking achievements and competitions for professionals as well as enthusiasts with rankings and a huge hardware database.

Also be sure to read the rules for each individual benchmark at HWBOT pertaining to what you are benching and submitting.
There are also additional rules during events such as TEAM CHALLENGES, so be mindful to read those as well when applicable.
Ok now let's get some useful software that you will probably need:
CPU-Z is required for pretty much every benchmark: https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
GPU-Z is required for 3D benchmarks and pretty much anything that uses GPU compute: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/
Benchmate is very useful for submitting 2D benchmarks: https://benchmate.org/
I would like more experienced HWBOT users to help guide novices, newcomers, and those overclocking veterans who might be returning to the game from a few years hiatus. HWBOT is 10% about silicon lottery, 20% perseverance, 20% cooling capacity, and 50% litigation so try and get those screen shots correct!
I plan on updating this thread with advice, tips, links to tutorials, and other helpful information.
