Optimizing Core i5 8265u

Hy fellows,
I need some help.

I'm having some serious performance trouble with my Samsung X40.

I have a Core i5 8265u, and it's clearly underperforming.

I want to use TrottleStop to fix that.

Any suggestions?

2 choices.

Get a better laptop. Namely nothing in the ultrabook range which the X40 is.

Open it up, replace the stock thermal paste with something better and pray it drops temps enough to hit max turbo clocks.
