OSD software similar to Afterburner with RTSS?

I gave up on AB as I was told that it's somewhat meh on RX 6000 series, so I'd like something similar. I know that Radeon software has an OSD too, but personally I don't like that.

depends what you want to see during your gameplay? fps counter only? frame cap implementation? cpu usage in real time? what do you want out of it?

personally I OC with AMD drivers built in oc feature, then i download RTSS only, but no afterburner is installed on my PC. I use RTSS stand alone.

Those would be nice to monitor during gameplay. I could try RTSS standalone if those are possible with it?

Might be, using hwinfo64 as source.

I'll try, just had to put HWInfo64 to autostart so I don't need to start it manually

You need to open the sensors tab, afaik. Think you can set that as the default opening behavior, though.

edit: And I use HWInfo only for sensors, I don't give a crap about the system info part, I know what I've put to my rig + I have CPU-Z & GPU-Z installed in case I need to inspect something..

Just heard from guys in discord that AMD software is better for overclocking newer AMD cards.

I don't know how it works with current/prev gen AMD but when I had my RX 570 it was fine with both.
I had my undervolt+fan settings and everything else set up in the AMD side of things/software and used Afterburner+RTSS as a monitoring/osd software only.

Nothing to complain on my HTPC's RX 460 either, but newer cards are different what it comes to overclocking. Never seen min/max clock sliders before for example. And fast timing for VRAM.

Probably I worded that wrong, what I meant is that you can use both and only keep around AB+RTSS as an OSD software while you keep your OC and whatever else in the AMD software.
At least that worked for me just had to make sure AB is not trying to take priority/overwrite your AMD settings.

If even thats not possible with newer cards then ignore what I said.

Hm, I may try as it was the easiest way. Just hope that AB doesn't screw with the settings I use with AMD software. I'll report later what happens, now I'll play some PS2.

If you want an OSD with AB go into Performance/Metrics. You will see a Tracking/Overlay tab on the right. Click on Overlay and you will get a list of options the first one will be Show Metrics Overlay. The other way is Shift/CTRL o.

For overclocking yes, I don't think there is any other tool besides their drivers where you can overlock.
