Patriot Memory has unveiled the Viper EV330 PCIe M.2 2230 SSD enclosure, specifically designed for users seeking high-speed data transfer, superior heat dissipation, and portability. This enclosure supports the USB 3.2 Gen 2 x2 interface, delivering ultra-fast data transfer speeds of up to 20 Gbps, enabling users to quickly access and back up large files for both professional applications and everyday needs.

The Viper EV330 enclosure accommodates PCIe NVMe SSDs in the M.2 2230 form factor, making it ideal for storage expansion in high-performance laptops, mini PCs, and mobile devices. The aluminium alloy housing not only provides excellent thermal management but also features silicone shock protection to enhance impact resistance, ensuring stable SSD operation even during mobile use.

A key highlight of the Viper EV330 is its lightweight design, featuring a 45x45mm body and weighing just 52 grams, making it highly portable for users who need high-speed storage on the go. Equipped with a Type-C interface, it easily connects to various devices including laptops, desktop computers, and gaming consoles, offering flexible expansion solutions for mobile professionals and gamers alike. The easy-to-install design helps users quickly install an M.2 SSD with plug-and-play support that requires no additional drivers, simplifying storage upgrades and boosting both work and entertainment efficiency.

Would rather recomend Orico or Dockcase enclosure as they both offer some heatsink capabilites in their enclosures.

This enclosure supports the USB 3.2 Gen 2 x2 interface, delivering ultra-fast data transfer speeds of up to 20 Gbps
Specifications image says:
Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 2 controller, Seq. Read/Write (MB/s) 1000/1000

I'd guess the second one is more probable.

The enclosure itself will be much more useful when 4+TB M.2 2230 drives finally get to the market.
