Giving myself headaches trying to make the best decisions, I have come to terms with AMD CPU's being the best option currently.
Primarily gaming, FPS games BOPS6, Fortnite, BattleField 2042. Some light video editing and 3d modeling.

Anything below that I should change for Ram, Mobo or AIO?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor ($479.99 @ MicroCenter)
CPU Cooler: EK EK-Nucleus AIO CR360 Lux D-RGB 72 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($150.00 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ATX AM5 Motherboard ($319.99 @ MicroCenter)
Memory: G.Skill Flare X5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL32 Memory ($88.00 @ MicroCenter)
Storage: Samsung 990 EVO 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 5.0 X2 NVME Solid State Drive ($129.99 @ MicroCenter)
New components total: $ 1167.97
Existing Video Card: Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11 GB Video Card (until 5080 release)
Video Card
: RTX 5080 when it releases. ($1200 hopefully)

Existing OS Storage: Samsung 960 Pro 512 GB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Existing Game Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Existing Media/Photo Storage: Toshiba DT01ACA300 3 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive
Existing Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower Case
Existing Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P2 1000 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Existing Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Home
Existing Primary Monitor: Asus ROG SWIFT PG278QR 27.0" 2560 x 1440 165 Hz Monitor
Existing Secondary Monitor: Asus MG248Q 24.0" 1920 x 1080 144 Hz Monitor

Removing my custom rigid loop and two 360mm radiators in lieu of a 360mm AIO.

1)A 6000 cl30 RAM kit shouldn’t be much pricier.
2)Since your are not looking for faster RAM, a x670e board would be cheaper (or better for the same cost).

Source, you know, I’ll skip that information.

If you don't care for productivity whatsoever you can get away with a decent air cooler. 9800X3D isn't really an insane heater, liquid cooling isn't a necessity. And even if you care for it, good air coolers are still enough. A tad more noisy than liquid cooling, sure, but not deadly so.

Also if you're not into flight sims or other stuff that actively stomps on your SSD you also can get away with a PCI-e 4.0 drive not noticing any performance deficite.

For the mobo, I'd seriously consider swapping Gigabyte out for an AsRock SKU if they have all the interfaces and lanes you need. AsRock mobos are just better than Gigas today.
