Pc is underperforming

Hello,

Specs:

RTX 3060 gigabyte 12g

R 5 5600X stock cooler

32gb ram 3200mhz

Msi A 520M PRo mobo

Cooler master 750watt gold 80 plus pcu

I have recently upgraded my pc with a r5 5600x and a rtx 3060 gigabyte 12g but since then ive seen that it was underperforming heavily so ive done everything like update bios and chipset drivers, checking the speed of the gpu its running at its intended speed the ram is set to 3200mhz and just about everything i could find on the internet to fix this issue. I have already done a clean driver install with ddu. I have installed msi afterburner and rivatuner and have been benchmarking and the gpu is running at full speed like how its supposed to. recently ive seen a video saying to disable the vurtualization/VBS or something in the bios and i have done it and it gave me a huge performance boost up to 100 plus fps on valorant but its still not performing like it should be. I have also checked if there are any problems with the pcie in cpu z and there is nothing. I see on other benchmark videos that valorant should be running at around a 120more average fps than what im getting on 1080p low settings, definetly in areas where theres not much on the screen and also apex legends is underperforming. I have searched and searched, did everything and im almost going bald now. Can someone help me please?

I have found out that my cpu is only reaching 3700mhz in occt stability test and also in the benchmark test my cpu scores lower on the single thread and much lower on the multi thread.
Also if i run msi afterburner and rivatuner it says that all cores are running at 4650mhz so does that mean that my cpu is working properly?
Also my cpu temps dont exceed 75-80c ever while under full load.
I also get this warning everytime i open ryzen master so i cant do anything in the app.
In this video this person has a r5 5600 and still getting around 420 average fps, im only getting around 270-290 average fps with the x version using rivatuner just as this person does. Im also using the same settings and resolution.

And in this video this person has the r5 5600x and the same gpu aswell and getting an average of around 600fps

Any ideas?

Is your memory one 32 GB stick or 2 16 GB sticks? Also don't disable virtualization. Disable HVCI (core isolation) instead.

you're getting up above 72C in gaming, it's probably slightly down clocking because of the stock cooler.

What did you upgrade from ?

Since you are running the stock cooler you should run Ryzen Master and do core optimization.
That way you can lower the voltage and heat, while increasing performance.
102 frames less in Valorant sounds like a lot. I seriously doubt you are using the same resolution and settings, as the system you are comparing it to.

Install the latest BIOS, reset XMP and try again.

If it doesn't work, do a fresh reinstall of Windows, 24H2 LTSC is out now and it's pretty good, brings Ryzen improvements as well.

2 sticks of 16gb ram, So just disable the core isolation in windows settings?

from a rtx 3050 12gb and a r5 5500 and yes i am using the same res and settings all low on 1080p. Also im getting this message everytime when i open ryzen master so i cant do anything on there.

I already updated the bios to the latest version and the xmp profiles are both greyed out for me i cant enable it. I have also changed these settings in the bios maybe it will let me boost up to the normal clock speeds

Yeah. That should be enough and you don't lose virtualization acceleration support.

The point that your CPU may be running hot due to low grade cooling is a valid concern. If you're strapped for cash - Peerless Assassin 120 SE. Have fun!

You need to provide detailed info, what settings in game, resolution, link to the review you are comparing to, cause even if you are thermal throttling to 3.7Ghz that is never going to lose you 120FPS compared to not throttling, you will be mostly GPU limited, and I don't believe that anyone with the same CPU and GPU running the game at the same res as you with the same settings will be 120+ FPS more than you, no way no how, a tower HSF is not going to magically give you 120+ FPS compared to the stock cooler, you may be throttling, though not to that extent, there is more than meets the eyes with your OP and claims

Hello, thank you for your response and advise i have done so as you said.
question, wouldnt msi afterburner and rivatuner do essentially the same? Also im talking about the average fps not realtime, although i do seem to get somewhere in the range of what hes getting but not quite yet in realtime fps but my average is alot lower, like a 120 fps lower.
