Pc won’t boot

NewPc won’t boot only the motherboard and ram then stays on and gpu and fans turn on for a second then turn off

3080 ti
5950x
1200w psu 80 plus platninum
980 pro 2tb
X570 dark hero

Reseat everything. Check all plugs. Your board should support the cpu out of the box but you might need bios update but try to clear cmos. I dont have the dark hero but I have ch8 and there should be a button to clear cmos. If not successful, you might need to update bios using the usb bios flashback

Yup

I tried changing ram and I took out gpu and power it up with no gpu and I cleared cmos nothing but my cpu came in with no bubble ram in the packaging just a cpu box and a bag

Also when the ox is just sitting there won’t the mobo and ram rgb on the cpu doesn’t get hot even with no cooler

a modern motherboard has got 3 major LEDs (gpu/cpu/ram) that give green light or even a red one if something fails. according to this i have got a display with numbers showing me an error or the operation that is handled by the bios.
which number/combination do YOU see?

on all asus motherboards there should be a small sticker with a serial and the bios number it came with.
normally around the 24pin connector.

Also check for a misplaced motherboard stand. If it doesnt line up with a screw hole in the motherboard, take it out.

As post above says. Breadboard it.

Check all PSU cables are in properly and right module cable used (if PSU modular) and all components seated properly.

Have faith it'll boot, nothing like a post beep from a new machine .

Nothing even happened all i got was a video of him turning it on and stuff, and then we decided on the cpu being what it was. Then he left
He also said he built it himself, and that he has been building pc's for a long time, and none of the other ones he built ever did this before.
Basically got some new news from him that might help, that was not on here.

Try minimal, 1 stick of memory, a GPU, no mouse, no key board, out side the case. Also a speaker for boot chimes...

It should just work acording to specs but when it does not fun begins. Are You using any extention cords? If, then do not . Maybe pic of setup would help ,do not be shy, we do like good hardware pics now and then . Cheers.

Just a update on things I have already tried
Gpu is known to work tested it in another rig , psu works tested in another rig, already tried a different ram kit no fixes, even if ssd wasn’t working it would still boot if not mistaken that’s why I went ahead and exchanged CP and mobo because what else could it be cpu comes in on wenesday and mobo says coming later this month because it’s in stock soon but we all know when Amazon says that it comes wayyy sooner but do guys think it’s cpu or mobo like I do
