you mean locked or clocked:
1300mhz moarr with 1,312volt is a fine oc in my book.
maybe you looked on taskmanager instead of cpu-z- its running 4600mhz

Yes, its my little test/work pc. I think I hit the silicone lottery hehe. And yes, it is with the Asus Z170 P D3. You can overclock this CPU or most non-k cpus with pre-micro code bioses. There are plenty of websites where you can find them. And yes, it is originally clocked at 3.3.

Dual Core is still quite powerful, I had skt 939 X2 3800+ @2.66Ghz back in the day and i was rocking it till at least 2008 Playing a lot of games like guildwars, BF2, CoD, L4D, TF2. Eventually retired it and went for an intel Q9550(S-Spec) You should be able to play many modern games just fine except just not as fast CPUs with more cores.

Unless it's games like I think it was FC4? That wouldn't start if it didn't see a quad core.

There are hacks to get around that. Publishers shouldnt be able to dictate HOW you play the game or what sort of hardware you play the game on so long as its not too ridiculous.

Im not allowed to play a glorified console port because I have only 2 cores??? bitch please....

It used to be the case that FC4 would not run on dual cores. But that has been fixed. Developers release patches for these games that do not support dual core CPU's. I'm not aware of one game today that does not run on dual core cpu's, though I may be wrong.

CoD1 runs pretty shitty on dual core - You need to download and run some software that locks the game down to a single core before playing otherwise it ruins the game

I don't know about older games. But I do know for the latest games, developers try to release patches to fix the dual core issues.

I didn't think the developer every fixed the dual-core issue with FC4, only a 3rd party fix that got the game to run, but it wouldn't run that well.
