PL2 & EDP Other Blink/Constant Red when Gaming

I recently got a new power adapter, albeit a cheap one, to replace my recently broken original charger, I'm using an HP Pavilion 15 (15-dk1035nr).

When I plugged it in I started to notice when launching my PC that I was being throttled to 0.79 Ghz on my CPU (i5-10300H), so I attempted to stop this with throttlestop, but no no avail can I get anything to work, I have tried changing PL limits, TPL, etc, locking power limits, and everything, nothing has worked, it is fine when I boot up and launch throttlestop, but PL2 and EDP other kick in around like a minute into a game launching. I have also noticed that I am not being throttled when not plugged into the AC adapter, but still less performance due to being on battery, I believe I may just need to purchase a genuine charger, could anyone take a look at my settings and situation and give me word of advice?

may just need to purchase a genuine charger
Some laptops reduce performance significantly if you try to use a non OEM charger. They go into some sort of low power mode just to be safe. Even if your new charger has the exact same or even a higher power rating, it might still throttle. Dell laptops were famous for this. It looks like your HP laptop is doing the same thing. It is a bit of a scam but laptop manufacturers have gotten away with this for a long time. Imagine buying a car and being forced to only buy gasoline from one specific oil company? That makes as much sense as being forced to only use chargers from the original company you bought your laptop from.

Try using a genuine HP charger and see if your power throttling problem goes away. It should. Next time you post a log file just attach it. When you copy and paste log file data, the formatting is lost so it makes it harder to read or scroll through. A CPU with a 45W TDP rating should never be power limit throttling at only 7W or 8W. HP must be using an embedded controller (EC) to enforce this low ball power limit.

Alrighty, will do! I appreciate the info on the log file as well, will update when I get a new genuine charger,
