hello guys. i need help. at days i buy from ebay z690 aorus xtreme. and seller dont put in box front panel connector cable. myabe someone know where i can buy or another way for on/off . one way how i doing this buttons on mb

yea this mb have not default connectors for front panel . see pics . i think this cable is the adapter but i can't find anywhere for buy. when i search i find only reviews. i texted support of gigabyte but they don't answer 2 week :/

Well I was going to say contact Gigabyte on this matter. Most likely they don't have spares just laying around.

That's one downside of buying used stuff. If you have means to make your own cables, I can provide you the pinout.

The manual might have it as well.


Depending on the ebay listing you might be able to send it back, citing missing parts.

shortening of cables does not work while standard turning.....if you can give the correct pinout ill do it I will just be very grateful to you

thanks, it turns on, but if you turn it off again from the button, it doesn’t start anymore, if not, unplug the power cable from psu for the 20 seconds .. and if you turn it on with the button from the motherboard and turn it off back from there, everything is fine

why not just ask the seller for it? if he doesn't have or doesn't reply sent it back, ebay will give you your money back. Gigabyte support is bad, so your stuck.

That is not normal. Are you holding the power button or letting it shutdown normally?

As soon as I clamp it, it immediately turns off as if chopped off from the outlet. that pinout from manual are default pinout like all other mbs. they did not write there that the most important meaning of the small connector is what and where from mb it says about the top of the connector

watch the video here I speak a different language I filmed this for a local master, you will understand what is happening

from the mb buttons work normaly and u see what hapening when i turn off from top side button pc

I have that MB, but it will take some time to pull it out and see what the pins are. From the picture / video it looks like the PW cable is connected to the rest pins.

sorry if this is a necro post but any chance others have been able to make these cables? i have a similar sitsuation in i bought Gigabyte Aorus Extreme x570 that needed some repair for a really good deal just needed to resolder some usb 3 front panel headers no big deal. being that i had this on the bench didnt htink anything of propritary cables i got in touch with seller and he left it in a case he sold >< and Gigabyte is as usefull as a bump on a log. if anyone can help here i have looked everywere else its to a point iv looked at buying another Extreme board if it meansitll have the cable lol here is the build log for this Salvaged Build

There's always that one guy whos never had a problem with their support I sent them a dead motherboard (no box and no accessories) I bought on eBay and they sent me a brand new one in the retail box within 2 weeks no questions asked LOL. I thought to myself, why didn't the owner just do this?! It did help that no pins were bent.
